The Holy Ghost tells us that this was addressed by the Father to the Son in his Resurrection (see Act 13:33). It was from the grave that our Lord stepped up to his mediatorial throne, whence all the hatred of his foes has had no power to dislodge Him, and never shall have. Death is a birth into the true life. Jesus was the Firstborn from the dead; we too are to be born out of the darkness of the grave into the Life Immortal.

"There is a beyond, and he who has once caught a glimpse of it is like a man who has gazed at the sun. Wherever he looks, he sees everywhere the image of the sun. Speak to him of finite things, and he will tell you that the finite is impossible and meaningless without the infinite. Speak to him of death, and he will call it birth; speak to him of time, and he will call it the mere shadow of eternity."

But is it not wonderful that He has begotten us also unto a living hope by the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead to an incorruptible inheritance? We are the sons of the resurrection. In Jesus we are already on resurrection-ground. Our sun shall no more go down, nor our moon withdraw herself. For us, at least, God hath destroyed "the veil that is spread over all nations."

Do not wonder, then, at the hate of men. They will rage, and imagine vain things; they will take counsel together. It cannot be otherwise.

Thou mayest expect, then, to be bruised by thy brethren, and hated by the world. But at such times Christ will come to thee, and give thee fresh accessions of his resurrection life, carrying thee into the hidden house of his abiding, and confirming the weak knees and the heart that faints.

Verse 14 marks the end of the paranthetical portion of the vision between the sixth and seventh trumpets (10:1-11:14). It says, "The second woe is past", the three woes are the three series of judgments, the Seal judgments, the Trumpet judgments and the Vial judgments.  The second woe is the Trumpet judgment, it is now past. The final series of judgments is about to come, the Vial judgments. "The third woe cometh quickly", this last series of judgments will fall rapidly in swift succession.

Verse 15 says, "And the seventh angel sounded", remember that the sixth Seal contained the whole six Trumpet judgments, now understand also that seventh Trumpet contains the whole seven Vial judgments which are now to be poured out.

In verse 15, we have the anticipation of the kingdom, we have the announcement that the time has finally come for the kingdom of this world to become kingdom of Christ. Remember that the rule of this world was temporarily given to Satan. It was given into his hand to prove that he could not take the place of God and rule this world sussessfully (Eph.2:2 - Luke 4:6 - 2 Cor. 4:4).

I would draw your attention to the fact that each of the three series of judgments has a separate source. In the Seal judgments we see a world ruined by man, the antichrist, who causes the Seal judgments in a vain attempt to turn the world into a utopia without God. In the Trumpet judgments we see a world destroyed by Satan as he makes a desparate last attempt to wrest total control of the earth from God. As we come to the Vial judgments it is Christ himself who pours out the final catastrosphic judgments as He destroys Satan and his followers and comes to take the kingdom.

The verse continues, `The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ`, it is not that there are not many things that will yet happen before Christ actually sits on the throne, but rather He has now moved to begin to take His rightful place. He has risen from His throne and has entered the fray to consumate the battle of the ages. The verse concludes with, and he shall reign for ever and ever, the  promises of the ages will be fulfilled, (Daniel 2:44 - 4:3,34 - Isa.9:6,7).

In verses 16-17 we see the acclamation of the King. When the announcement is made all of heaven rejoices. The four and twenty elders, which sat on their seats, (the church) fell on their faces and worshipped God. The great King has now entered into the battle, the victory is certain and it will be soon. Oh, what a glorious future awaits the believer! Believer, get your eyes off the this world and your problems and get them fixed on your Saviour and on heaven. In heaven we will give ourselves to praising and worshipping God, and wonder of wonders He will pour out His love and blessings upon us forever, blessings without number!

In verse 17, we see the reason for their thankfulness, we will rejoice to see our God moving to destroy His enemies and our enemies. A world that has for millenniums dishonoured God and rebelled against Him will now be judged, and God will be honoured, that will bring joy to our hearts. We see also the answer to the prayed of the tribulation martyrs in Revelation 6:10, And they cried with a loud voice, saying , How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth. That prayer is answered and that answer will apply to all of the evil that the ungodly have heaped on the saints of all the ages.

What a time of rejoicing, the wrongs of all the ages will be made right, sin will be exposed for what it really is, the Mystery of Iniquity will be revealed, all of creation will see and understand forever, that sin only and always brings pain and death and nothing good or pleasing. The world doesn`t understand that today. At this point in the book there is yet much to accomplished by the Lord, but the movement is now underway and the end is now in sight.

We are not going to know the winner of the presidential election on the night of November 3rd.  Sadly, we almost certainly won't know the winner the next day either.  In fact, it may be many weeks before a winner is formally declared. 

Laws have been passed all over the country to make voting by mail much easier, and it is being very heavily promoted in many states.  It is being projected that at least 83 percent of all U.S. voters will be eligible to vote by mail in November, and that is an astounding number.  If all of those people actually did vote by mail, more than 190 million votes would go through our postal system. 

But of course many people will continue to show up in person and vote the old-fashioned way.  We will get the results from those that vote in person on election day very rapidly like we normally do, but it may take a very long time before all of the mail-in votes are tallied.  As I will explain in this article, this has the potential to create some enormous problems.

It is being generally assumed by the political "experts" that Trump will do very well among those that show up in person to vote and that Biden will do very well among those that vote by mail.

If that assumption is true, some Democrats are warning that it could look like Trump will win the election based on the results that we are given on the night of November 3rd, but once all of the mail-in votes are counted Biden will actually be the true winner.

Specifically, this is a narrative that Democratic pollster Josh Mendelsohn is now pushing heavily. According to a "scenario" modeled by his firm, the results on election night could show Trump winning 408 electoral votes...

"We are sounding an alarm and saying that this is a very real possibility, that the data is going to show on election night an incredible victory for Donald Trump," HawkFish CEO Josh Mendelsohn said in an interview with Axios on HBO.

One scenario modeled by Mendelsohn's polling firm even shows Trump prevailing in the Electoral College on election night, winning 408 electoral votes compared to just 130 for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Could you imagine the euphoria of Trump supporters if this is what the numbers actually show on the night of November 3rd?

Everyone would be talking about a "Trump landslide" and there would be wild dancing in the streets in many red states.

But Mendelsohn is anticipating that only about 15 percent of all mail-in votes will be counted by election night, and he believes that once all of the mail-in votes are counted that Biden will be declared the true winner...

That scenario accounts for the idea that just 15 percent of mail-in votes will be counted by election night. In that event, the model suggests, Biden could prevail days later -- if counting goes smoothly -- by 334 electoral votes to 204 for Trump.

"When every legitimate vote is tallied and we get to that final day, which will be some day after Election Day, it will in fact show that what happened on election night was exactly that, a mirage," Mendelsohn said.

I don't even want to imagine the uproar that would be created if such a scenario actually played out.

Even if there was no vote fraud, and even if every single vote was counted accurately, tens of millions of people would still be absolutely convinced that the election was stolen from Trump.

And even Mendelsohn is admitting that the outcome he is projecting would "shake the losing side's faith in the integrity of the election".

Personally, I think that mail-in voting is such a bad idea no matter which party it favors.  It opens up so many opportunities for potential vote fraud, and the delay in getting the results is very bad for our nation.

I believe that we will see some precincts in some swing states with a voter participation rate of more than 100 percent this year.  In other words, I believe that in some precincts the number of votes cast will actually outnumber the true number of actual voters.

Let's keep a close eye on the results as they come in throughout the month of November and see if I am actually correct.  In my opinion there is going to be quite a bit of monkey business going on with mail-in ballots, and President Trump has been greatly concerned about mail-in ballots as well.  In fact, on Wednesday he once again expressed his concern that the upcoming election could be rigged...

Wednesday: Trump retweeted an article from a conservative publication that raised questions about the impact of mail-in voting on the upcoming election and added his own editorial comment. "Rigged election?" he asked.

I have always believed that voters should be required to vote in person as much as possible and that paper ballots should always be used.  Those two measures alone would certainly not completely fix our system, but they would definitely go a long way toward restoring integrity to the voting process.

As it stands now, we are heading into a nightmare election.  We all know that it is exceedingly unlikely that Trump will concede on election night, and Hillary Clinton continues to insist that Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances...

In a rare joint interview with American Urban Radio Washington Bureau Chief April Ryan, Hillary Clinton added to her demands that Democrat Joe Biden not concede on election night, and Bill Clinton suggested that Trump will reinforce the White House to keep officials from pulling him out on Inauguration Day.

"Do not concede under any circumstance because I believe the other side is going to cheat and sneak and try everything they possibly can," said Hillary Clinton in the "#COVID Conversations" interview broadcast via Instagram.

So we are probably going to have to wait for weeks before every vote is finally counted.

And then if it is still very close, there will probably be legal challenges which will have to work their way through the courts.

If things are tight enough, we may not have a formal winner until some time in 2021.

No matter who ends up being victorious, I believe that the election of 2020 is going to be a nightmare for America.  It is likely that we will see vote fraud on a scale that we have never seen before, millions of those on the losing side will probably never accept the final result as legitimate, and the chaos caused by a contested outcome could result in even more violence in our streets.

We will see what happens, but right now I have a very, very bad feeling about what is going to happen in November.

DHS Issues Warning Over 'potential Emp Attack' As Presidential Election Nears

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a new report warning about a "potential" electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack against the U.S.

DHS's warning published Thur. (Sept. 3), with under 60 days until the U.S. presidential election on Nov. 3, indicates there are "evolving threats against the American homeland, most recently highlighting efforts to combat an Electromagnetic Pulse attack which could disrupt the electrical grid and potentially damage electronics."

The department released an EMP status report via the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) that said the "key actions to address known EMP-related vulnerabilities to critical infrastructure."

CISA said an EMP attack could "disrupt, degrade, and damage technology" embedded in critical infrastructure systems. Widespread blackouts could be seen if an EMP was to damage the nation's electrical grid, resulting in additional flare-ups of socio-economic turmoil.

"EMP attacks are part of the emerging threats against our nation and demand a response," said Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Deputy Secretary Ken Cuccinelli.

"That is why DHS is taking these contingencies very seriously, working diligently to mitigate our risks and equipping our state and local partners with the resources they need to do the same. We've made significant progress and look forward to work ahead," Cuccinelli said.

CISA Director Chris Krebs said top priorities of the agency is to mitigate threats associated with EMPs:

"Over the past year, we have worked with interagency and industry partners to identify the footprint and effects of EMP threats across our National Critical Functions, and are developing sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective approaches to improving the Nation's resilience to EMPs," Krebs said.

To combat these emerging threats, President Trump signed an executive order in March 2019, delegating power to the White House for EMP preparedness.

We recently quoted Peter Vincent Pry, ex-chief of staff of the Congressional EMP Commission, who wrote an op-ed that said the virus pandemic from China has "exposed dangerous weaknesses in U.S. planning and preparation for civil defense protection and recovery, and those weaknesses surely have been noticed by our potential enemies: China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, and international terrorists."

Pry warned that "China has been planning to defeat the U.S. with an EMP and cyber 'Pearl Harbor' attack for a quarter-century."

DHS nor CISA gave any more information on 'evolving EMP threats' on the American homeland. There was not mention of whether the threat could be from a solar storm or EMP weapons. However, the EMP status report did mention DHS is currently running EMP pilot tests to assess EMP vulnerability on infrastructure:

Finally, DHS is partnering with other federal departments and agencies, state, local, tribal, and territorial entities and the private sector to field test a more resilient critical infrastructure. There are a number of

field demonstration (or pilot) projects planned and underway by both DHS and DOE to assess EMP vulnerability and then deploy, evaluate, and validate EMP mitigation and protection technologies.

One such pilot is the San Antonio Electromagnetic Defense Initiative, designed to show how an entire region can become resilient against an EMP. These pilots are multisector, multifunction efforts, seeking to ensure key capabilities continue to function in a post EMP environment and that by maintaining those key functions we can expedite a full recovery. Working with federal interagency partners, DHS will play a major role in ensuring communications systems remain operational and, by ensuring key systems which are protected against EMP, are also protected against other threats such as cyber-attacks. - EMP status report

One EMP-expert and friend-of-the-site summed up the report perfectly:

We recognize the threat and we're working on it and you don't need to know any more than that, thank you for asking...

The warning comes with just under two months to go before the U.S. presidential election...
