The six day program, run jointly by the Samaria Liaisons Office and the Zionist Freedom Alliance (ZFA), brought the volunteers to Har Bracha, Yitzhar, Shalhevet Yam, Kfar Tapuach, Havat Gilad and Shavei Shomron for a week of building, planting, painting and study.
Executive Director of the Samaria Liaisons Office David Ha’ivri says, “Through this one week program, these kids get a unique hands-on opportunity to meet the pioneers settling the barren hilltops of Samaria and take part in reviving Jewish culture and agriculture in our ancient homeland.”

Ha’ivri also emphasized that this was a pilot run for what he hopes will become a mainstream experiential program for Diaspora Jewish students.
“We are grateful for the cooperation of the ZFA and plan on jointly promoting additional such programs throughout campuses in America. This partnership between youth volunteers and Jewish farmers in Samaria is a blessing for both sides: the farmers need working hands, and the youth get an unforgettable experience that connects them to the Land of Israel.”

The students work the land by day and attend Israel advocacy training classes by night. ZFA leader Yehuda HaKohen says that learning to champion Jewish national rights while actually working the land and experiencing “settler” life creates the kind of Zionist leadership that no pro-Israel group has until now been able to produce....
"And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast".
I believe we have here a classic double fulfillment of a prophecy. We see the faked death and resurrection of the beast, the antichrist. We also see the revival of the Roman Empire, which though it did not disappear altogether, it did disappear in its imperial form.
Remember the plan of Satan to defeat God and take control of the world is based on a Satanic trinity. Satan presents himself as God the father, while antichrist is supposed to be God the Son. The second beast, the false prophe, is supposed to be the Holy Spirit. Satan is an imitator, he seeks to imitate the Holy Trinity.
In his attempt to replicate the plan of God, Satan causes the antichrist to appear to die, and then appears to bring him back to life. Of course Satan does not have power to give life, therefore the whole exercise is one of deception. Notice it says, "as it were", implying deception. But the plan has an effect on those rebellious people who are deceived by Satan. "And his deadly wound was healed, and the whole world wondered after the beast ", Satan uses this deception to draw men and women to follow the beast. Again this is an attempt to duplicate the plan of God. The world appears to be awe struck by this ploy of Satan, and the beast is elevated in the eyes of the world.
There is a second application, I believe, to this death and ressurection. The Roman Empire has continued in a fragmented form even to this day. The Roman Empire has lived on in the form of the colonial empires of the European nations such as Brittain, France, Germany, Holland, Spain etc. But the imperial form of the Roman Empire died and has ceased to exist, there ceased to be an Emperor who ruled over the whole empire. When antichrist comes on the scene that imperial form of the empire will be restored, he will be the emperor who rules over the Revived Roman Empire.
We will have then an emperor who has been seemingly brought to life from death and an empire that has been restored to life from from death.
"And the whole world wondered after the beast", the world will be deceived by these events and will worship the beast. In a brief span of time the beast will rise to world power. Satan has a plan, though it is an imitation of God's plan, it will bring the world to worship Satan and his man.
Today there are ten nations that make up the EU, all other nations are associate members. One day, maybe soon, these ten nations will return to an imperial form, with the Beast ruling over them.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu expressed his shock and concern Saturday night in response to the lynching of a 59-year-old Jewish man at the Tel Baruch beach Friday night by a gang of intoxicated young Arab men from the village of Jaljulya. A 17-year-old girl from Kfar Saba and a 19-year-old female from Petach Tikvah were with the gang.
The prime minister told Public Security Minister Yitzchak Aharonvitch that he was "shocked and worried" by the recent surge in murders around the country. Seven people have been murdered in the past two weeks, including two in a homosexual club two weeks ago.
Netanyahu told Aharonovitch Saturday night that he expects zero tolerance for gang activity such as the murder of Leonard "Arik" Karp. The prime minister also instructed the public security minister to expedite probes of the murder and bring the perpetrators to justice as quickly as possible.
"The cruel violence we have seen in recent days has no place in a civilized society in general, and in Israel specifically," Aharonvitch agreed. "It is inconceivable that an innocent person could be strolling with his family and be beaten to death by a group of thugs."
The minister praised police for their quick arrest of suspects. He also said the cooperation of all government offices is needed in order to confront such violent crimes.
Evening at Beach Turns Into Nightmare
The small family was sitting on the bench at the northern Tel Aviv shore, when the gang of young men, all around 20 years old, strolled past. The Arabs made a comment about Leonard "Arik" Karp's 25-year-old daughter, and the father answered in kind.
Within moments, a verbal attack quickly became a lynching.
The mother and daughter fled, with some of the young men chasing and beating them. The other members of the gang focused their attack on the father.
The daughter managed to put a call through to police; she and her mother sustained light injuries. Although police say they arrived in less than five minutes, by the time they arrived and mother and daughter had returned to look for Karp, he had disappeared.
"We operated forces to locate the missing man, and at the same time located the suspects," Police Commander David Gez said.
A trail of blood seemed to indicate that Karp had tried to escape the vicious gang, but to no avail. His badly beaten body was later found floating in the water near the Israel Electric Corporation building.  It was taken to Abu Kabir Forensic Institute for examination.
Police rounded up 10 suspects, thanks in part to a tip called in by the 17-year-old girl who had been with the gang. Several of the suspects were caught in the nearby Horashim Forest, still drunk. The girl, who allegedly confessed and led police to the site of the attack, reportedly told them that she had tried to stop the beating, but had been slapped by one of the drunken Arabs for her efforts. Her attorney later said that any confession she had made was invalid, inasmuch as it had been obtained by police without allowing her benefit of legal representation prior to questioning.
Police said they would seek a gag order to prevent the media from publishing photos of the suspects in order not to compromise any future witness identification process

In letter to the Prime Minister, MK Katz decries Netanyahu's persecution of Jews in Judea and Samaria (Yesha), while MK Ben-Ari castigates Cabinet ministers for going along with him.
MK Yaakov Katz (Ketzaleh), head of the National Union party, has written a sharp letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in light of the ongoing decrees against the Jews of Judea and Samaria, entitled, “A Last-Gasp Call to Return to Your Declared Path in the Merit of Which You Were Elected.”
Excerpts from the letter: “You were elected by loyalists and lovers of the Land of Israel on the basis of your promises that you will protect it and expand its construction. However, ever since you took office, you and your men – chiefly [Defense Ministe Ehud Barak – harass and torment the Jewish of Judea and Samaria simply because they are Jewish. Your decision to freeze only Jewish construction in our capital of Jerusalem, and in Judea, Binyamin, the Jordan Valley and Shomron, is joined by very frequent persecution campaigns and destruction operations against Jewish housing. Every morning we hear of an initiative to destroy yet another Jewish presence in Judea and Samaria.
“Instead of trying to find solutions, you are preventing these pioneers from growing and expanding. I beg you to stop this campaign of destruction and oppression.
“None of the ministers that you appointed to your government are able to explain your strange actions, and the large majority of them stand ashamed and humiliated when they are asked to look their voters in the eye and explain to them. None of them know how it happened that your approach towards the pioneers is much more extremist than your predecessors, Sharon and Olmert. None can explain how it is that you are fulfilling the same policies that you vowed during the election campaign to fight against.
“I wish to warn you that if you continue along this path, it will, without a doubt, lead to your political downfall.
“The public that you are constantly persecuting – they, their parents and relatives – should be the first ones to feel your warm embrace and support. Instead, they receive only empty words and constant persecution and humiliation.
“As in the past, you are unable to identify the true will of the people, and its absolute love for this land, and its disgust with those who destroy it.
“As in the past, you will blame us, the ‘extreme right-wing,’ for the your downfall. But this doesn’t change the facts; you, with your own two hands, are leading to your government’s fall, by acting in opposition to your own platform.
“We, for our part, will not break, and will continue to build, expand and multiply, even if you continue to torment us. There is a G-d in heaven. You act as if there is no law and no judge – but you should must take to heart what your grandfather knew but you have forgotten: The Nation of Israel is the nation of holiness, the Land of Israel is the land of sanctity, and the Torah of Israel is the Torah of holiness. G-d keeps an account, and He will make an accounting with those who humiliate His people, just as he did with you 13 years ago. In the end, He will remove you from your seat of power, and replace you with the worthy leaders that Israel so deserves.
“I make this call from the depths of my heart and from the depths of the pain of the nation that you are mocking and disgracing: Return from your evil path, and return to the original path you promised to follow and for which you were elected.”Ben-Ari: Barak Acts, Ministers are Silent
Katz’s party colleague, MK Michael Ben-Ari, says that Barak and the other Cabinet ministers share the blame with Netanyahu. Speaking with Arutz-7’s Hebrew newsmagazine on Friday, Ben-Ari said, “The residents of Israel should know that at present, we don’t have a Defense Minister. Ehud Barak is busy with political matters; that’s what interests him.”
As evidence, Ben-Ari cites Barak’s decision to approve a 50% addition to the number of construction inspectors in the Yesha Civil Administration. “Unfortunately, the unit that he has just enlarged is not charged with dealing with illegal Palestinian construction – only with Jewish building.”
Ben-Ari said, “We have established a special subcommittee of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that will expose the selectivity of the enforcement, how Jews are picked on and not Arabs. Everyone knows that there are dozens of illegal Arab neighborhoods built without permission and licenses, yet no one says a word. The Maoz Esther outpost has been razed four times in the past few weeks – yet right next to it a large Palestinian neighborhood has been built illegally; why is that not being torn down? Apparently, the IDF is afraid to deal with the Arabs; it’s much easier to go into Eli or other Jewish site and destroy some structures.”
“Up to now, Barak and his left-wingers have been destroying the new outpost neighborhoods and the new homes there, but now they’re beginning to come into the existing towns in order to ‘enforce the law’ on building violations there. They want to come in and harass everyone who wants to build a fence or a sidewalk; we won’t be able to open a new nursery or to bang a nail into a wall. Barak is doing Netanyahu’s dirty work; this shows the extent of Netanyahu’s leadership and his ability to withstand pressure, which are about zero.”
“Netanyahu has some 30 silent sheep [Cabinet ministers – ed in his government who don’t open their mouths. Where are Moshe Yaalon, and Benny Begin, and Daniel Herskowith, Moshe Kachlon, and Gilad Erdan? Where are they all? They’re not doing a thing! Lieberman, the Foreign Minister, says he can’t get involved in the matter of settlements because of a ‘conflict of interest’ [Lieberman resides in the settlement of Nokdim in eastern Gush Etzion – ed What kind of excuse is that? We all have a conflict of interest in this matter!”
Ben-Ari decried the lack of public protest: “It’s an absurd situation, no one is protesting, and we don’t know where it will end. But I hope that with the passage of the Mofaz Law [making it easier for MKs to split off from an existing party – ed, some MKs from Kadima and the Likud will quit and will join us instead. I am building on the MKs’ straight thinking and national responsibility; it won’t hurt if seven or so Likud rebels join us in the true nationalist party.”
Wealthy foreign Arabs have bought up hundreds of dunams of land in the Galilee, according to a report broadcast Saturday on Voice of Israel government radio. The land, which was owned privately and which was zoned for agricultural use, was sold due to economic hardship.
The buyers were wealthy citizens of Arab states in the Persian Gulf that do not have any diplomatic relations with the State of Israel.
Groups of Galilee Jewish farmers who tried to organize a counter-offer failed to raise enough money to purchase the land from its owners.
Israeli lands are being sold to the highest bidder.
Agriculture Minister Shalom Simchon said he had no legal authority to intervene in the matter. The Israel Lands Authority, which owns most of the land in Israel, told the radio station it could not stop a transaction involving privately-owned land.
The Knesset last month passed a bill that mandates the sale of 400,000 dunams of the Land of Israel by 2014, the equivalent of 400 square kilometers, or 155 square miles (nearly 99,000 acres). The law allows another 400,000 dunams to be sold after 2014.
Kadima Knesset Member Nachman Shai slammed the same in a news release, saying "Israeli lands are being sold to the highest bidder," just as expected and feared during the vote on land reform.
"The Israel Land Authorities reform is a loophole calling out to the robber, and it will attract, as expected, Arab investors from abroad, who will eventually gain control over significant pieces of land in Israel," Shai said.
Meretz head Chaim Oron also pointed to the sale as proof that the land reform bill had been "misguided.
As Christian believers (I am assuming you are a believer), you and I know how we have been changed and regenerated and assured of eternal life by faith in Jesus Christ and His atoning death. On the other hand, where this good news of salvation by faith is not known, religion becomes an actual bondage. If Christianity is known only as a religious institution, it may well become merely a legalistic system of religion, and the hope of eternal life becomes a delusion. I have said this much about reality and assurance to counter the shock you may feel when I add that God wants to fully prepare you in your daily Christian life so that you will be ready indeed for heaven! Many of us have been in God's household for a long time. Remember that God has been trying to do something special within our beings day after day, year after year. Why? Because His purpose is to bring many sons - and daughters too - unto glory!
Our society has plunged into moral decline and depravity, it is doubtful that any greater decline has ever been seen in all of history. No society has ever enjoyed the knowledge of the truth of God's Word such as God has favoured us with. Jesus taught that the judgment of God is according to truth revealed and rejected.
The amazing thing about our situation is that we as a society have no realization of the extent of our rebellion against God and His Word. I believe that the depravity of our sin is a consequence of our turning away from revealed truth. Blindness is a part of the judgment of God and our society seems to be blind to what it has done in rejecting God.
Isaiah said, "A little child shall lead them". Perhaps we are seeing this in a recent poem written by a young student in Arizona.
Since the Pledge of Allegiance and the Lord's Prayer are not allowed in most public schools anymore because the word 'God' is mentioned.... A kid in Arizona wrote the following.
NEW School prayer :
Now I sit me down in school ,Where praying is against the rule. For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd. If Scripture now the class recites, It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow, Becomes a Federal matter now. Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene. The law is specific, the law is precise. Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice. For praying in a public hall, Might offend someone with no faith at all. In silence alone we must meditate, God's name is prohibited by the state. We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks, And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.. They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen, And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.  It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong, We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong. We can get our condoms and birth controls, Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles. But the Ten Commandments are not allowed, No word of God must reach this crowd.
It's scary here I must confess, When chaos reigns the school's a mess. So, Lord, this silent plea I make: Should I be shot; My soul please take!   Amen
This poem might just as well have been written in Canada, our situation is no different.

At least 20 Syrian civilians were killed and 60 were wounded in a failed missile test in May, Japan's Kyodo News reported Friday.
The test involved two updated Scud missiles developed together by Syria, North Korea and Iran. Both exhibited defective guidance systems, according to a Middle Eastern military source quoted in the report.
One of the short-range ballistic missiles hit a market near the Syrian-Turkish border, causing dozens of civilian casualties.
Syrian forces attributed the blast to a gas explosion and blocked off the site to recover the remains of the missile.
The landing site of the second missile was not discosed in the report, which also quoted Western diplomats.
One of the sources speculated that the second missile may have exploded somewhere on the Syrian border with Iraq.
Evidence from the site of a destroyed nuclear reactor in northeastern Syria that was allegedly bombed by the Israel Air Force on September 6, 2007, showed that North Korea had been involved in the manufacture and construction of the facility.
The latest United Nations anti-Israel report was written solely "to appease the Arab-controlled Human Rights Council," Aharon Leshno Yaar, Israel's ambassador to the UN in Geneva, said on Saturday.
He spoke with The Jerusalem Post by phone, a day after UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay submitted a report on what she termed "grave violations of human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, particularly due to the recent Israeli military attacks against the occupied Gaza Strip."
Her 34-page report was created at the request of the Human Rights Council in a special session it held on Israel in January.
The report will be presented to the council on September 29, along with a separate report that is being compiled by South African jurist Richard Goldstone.
Leshno Yaar said Pillay's report was "written by Palestinians in Ramallah" and "screened by Palestinian lawyers in Geneva in order to satisfy Palestinian diplomats on the Human Rights Council."
It was "totally biased" and based on unsubstantiated information, he said. "It ignores the facts and the Israeli positions."
"As far as Israel is concerned, we trust our military, we trust our legal system and we are ignoring this report," Leshno Yaar said.
In her report, Pillay said, "There is significant evidence which indicates that serious violations of international humanitarian law, as well as gross human rights violations occurred during the the military operations of 27 December 2008 to 18 January 2009."
She also accused Israel of harming unarmed civilians and of violating the rules of war with its "blockade" of the Gaza Strip.
Pillay said Israel's closure of its passages into Gaza for all but humanitarian goods amounts to collective punishment of civilians, which is prohibited under the Geneva Conventions on the conduct of warfare and occupation.
She cited the conventions' requirement that "no protected person may be punished for an offense he or she has not personally committed. Collective penalties and likewise all measures of intimidation or of terrorism are prohibited."
Pillay urged Israel to ease restrictions immediately "with a view to the complete lifting of the blockade and other restrictions."
Pillay also called on Israel to "stop its expansion of settlements, which are illegal" and to punish all settlers who attack Palestinians.
She also expressed concern that Israel had not complied with the International Court of Justice's 2004 advisory opinion against the security barrier, which stated that its construction in the West Bank was illegal.
She called for Israelis and Palestinians to receive building permits "in a nondiscriminatory manner" in east Jerusalem and the West Bank
