Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon and IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz met Friday morning to discuss the rocket attack on northern Israel on Thursday.

The IDF responded to the attack with an airstrike targeting a terror base south of Beirut.

Yaalon warned, “The state of Israel sees the government of Lebanon as responsible for what happens in its territory… We are taking the rocket fire toward Israel yesterday very seriously.”

“We will not allow anyone to disturb our citizens’ lives,” he added.

The terrorist group hit by Thursday night’s IDF strike vowed revenge on Friday morning. “Our response will come at the right time, in the right place, not how the Zionist enemy wants,” said spokesman Ramez Mustafa.

The Hezbollah television station Al Manar identified the targeted group as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a group that is also active in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) and in Gaza.

President Obama is moving “perilously close” to impeachment, Sen. Tom Coburn told a town hall crowd this week, two reports said Thursday.

The Oklahoma Republican noted he was “a personal friend” of the president during the Muskogee town hall event, but said the administration suffers from incompetence.

Coburn repeatedly called the president’s administration “lawless,” telling the crowd of 300 at the Muskogee Convention Center there should be a national constitutional convention to counter it – and to cut down an oversized federal government, the Tulsa World reported.

“I used to have a great fear of constitutional conventions,” he said. “I have a great fear now of not having one.”

On the issue of the president’s accountability, Roll Call reported Coburn told the crowd, “What you have to do is you have to establish the criteria that would qualify for proceedings against the president, and that’s called impeachment.”

“That’s not something you take lightly, and you have to use a historical precedent of what that means,” he said. “I think there’s some intended violation of the law in this administration, but I also think there’s a ton of incompetence, of people who are making decisions.

“I believe [an impeachment charge] needs to be evaluated and determined, but thank goodness it doesn’t have to happen in the Senate until they’ve brought charges in the House,” Coburn said. “Those are serious things, but we’re in a serious time. I don’t have the legal background to know if that rises to high crimes and misdemeanor, but I think they’re getting perilously close.”

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17).

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life (John 5:24.

The United States has lost one of its core guiding lights — its Judeo-Christian focus — said one conservative pundit, reflecting on the tragic and senseless shooting death of an Australian man in Oklahoma on a baseball scholarship, whose life was allegedly snipped by three self-proclaimed bored teens.

He was speaking of the Christopher Lane, 22, who was shot in the back while jogging near his Oklahoma college. Three teens were arrested in his killing — ages 16, 16 and 17 — and as various media have reported, police say one of them said they had nothing better to do, so they shot him.

On Fox News on Wednesday evening, Mr. Buchanan expressed shock and sadness at the killing.

“I think it raises a question: Where did these kids come out of? Where did they come from to get the idea that this was sort of a good thing to do and a lot of fun? I think we’ve got to take a look at the culture that they grew up in,” he said.
