“In his opening speech to delegates on Monday, the U.N. chief cited recent scientific data showing that levels of heat-trapping gases have hit a record high, reaching levels not seen for at least 3 million years when sea levels were 10-20 meters (33-66 feet) higher than today.”
So, the “heat-trapping gases have hit a record high, reaching levels not seen for at least 3 million years”...wait for it…“when sea levels were 10-20 meters (33-66 feet) higher than today.”
Again…So 3 million years ago “heat-trapping gases” were the same as today and back then the sea levels were 10-20 meters or 33 to 66 feet higher…so these people at the UN don’t even have a clue about what they’re talking about…it would seem that said “heat-trapping gases” haven’t had any affect on the sea levels and perhaps there isn’t such a crisis ... Especially when the sea levels just haven’t co-operated.
Perhaps this has more to do with Trump not cooperating, less to do with climate change and more to do with foreign interference in the next U.S. election, wouldn’t one think? I mean all of a sudden the chief of the UN is now crying “climate crisis” and others have stated an 18 month theory…so one could come to such a conclusion, now, couldn’t one? And if it is the case of foreign interference in the U.S. election does that mean the UN is culpable?
Love Trump or hate him…if you’re an American you might have reason to be just a tad bit nervous if the UN is involved in election interference just so they can get the U.S. back into paying the UN for climate change, shouldn’t you?
Just a little somethin’ somethin’ to perhaps think about when you hear all of this climate hysteria…calmer heads need to prevail…
At a rally in Times Square, BDS activists called to perpetrate an intifada, usually used to describe violence and terrorism, on all the college campuses in America in what is becoming a common rally cry for the movement.
On November 15, 2019, a pro-Gaza rally was held at Times Square in New York, NY. Nerdeen Kiswani of an organization called Within Our Lifetime led a chant that went: “There is only one solution: Intifada, revolution!” Intifada is a euphemism for violent riots as seen in Arab areas of Israel.
Husam Kaid of the City College New York branch of Students for Justice in Palestine, echoed, “There is only one solution: Intifada, revolution!” He shouted, “The intifada does not have to be in Gaza or Palestine! We’re going to have an intifada in every classroom! We are going to have an intifada on every college campus! We are going to shut down all the Zionist events and start an Intifada everywhere!”
Sayel Kayed, a pro-BDS activist belonging to American Muslims for Palestine, yelled, “‘Does Israel have a right to exist?’ No! Israel has no right to exist on Palestinian land…Palestine is all of Palestine—from the river to the sea.”
“Are we going to join the struggle?” Kayed yelled out.
The crowd answered a resounding, “Yes!”
“When Palestine resists, is that terrorism?” Kayed yelled, receiving a resounding, “No!” as an answer.
This is not the first time BDS activists called to bring the intifada. Speakers at an al Quds Day rally at Times Square in May rejected the two-state solution that would create an unprecedented Palestinian state inside of Israel ethnically cleansed of Jews. It is assumed that the intention is for the Jewish State to coexist next to the Palestinian State though no Palestinian leader has ever agreed to this condition.
At the rally, one activist declared, “We want all of it! Because every inch – from the river to the sea – is Palestine! Israel does not exist! It has not existed, it does not exist, and it will never exist! There is only Palestine!”
“Globalize the intifada!” the crowd chanted. Globalize the intifada! From New York to Gaza!”
‘Intifada’ literally means “shaking off, uprising, insurrection” and though it does not necessarily mean a violent uprising it has entered into the vernacular as describing Arab violence targeting Jewish Israelis. The first Intifada began in 1987, escalating from rock-throwing to suicide-bombings on public busses and public spaces, car-ramming attacks, stabbings, shootings, and fire-bombs.
Pope Francis has called on migrants to flood the United States and other Western nations whilst urging world leaders to "forget about national security" concerns as immigrant's needs are "more important" than borders. The head of the Catholic Church is calling on political leaders to drop their country's current screening and deportation policies and give precedence to migrant's requirements over the safety of their legal citizens. The pope has also demanded an end to detention centers for those who cross the border illegally, and for refugees to instead be offered long-term homes to show "solidity" and "equality."
According to Reuters, his challenge to politicians, made in a comprehensive position paper on migrants and refugees, again appeared to put him at odds with the restrictive policies of a number of governments dealing with growing popular anti-immigrant sentiment.“Solidarity must be concretely expressed at every stage of the migratory experience – from departure through journey to arrival and return,” he said in a message ahead of the Roman Catholic Church’s World Day of Migrants and Refugees.
Calling for “broader options for migrants and refugees to enter destination countries safely and legally,” he said the human rights and dignity of all migrants had to be respected regardless of their legal status.
For the second time in two weeks, U.S. President Donald Trump spoke on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday about Iran and other issues.
“The leaders discussed the threat from Iran, as well as other critical bilateral and regional issues,” said the White House in an email statement without elaborating further.
To date under the Trump administration, Washington’s relationship with Jerusalem has been strong, with moves upending decades of U.S. policy, such as recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, relocating the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, ending funding of the Palestinian Authority while it continues to pay terrorists and their families, approving the annexation of the Golan Heights, and most recently, easing the stance against settlements in the West Bank.
At the same time, its relationship with Tehran has deteriorated since the United States withdrew in May 2018 from the Iran nuclear deal and reimposed sanctions lifted under it, along with enacting new financial penalties against the regime.
During a press conference on Sunday, Netanyahu said that the two discussed “the historic opportunity we have in the coming months, including recognizing the Jordan Valley as the eastern border of Israel,” reported the Israeli broadcaster Kan.
The two also talked about a security pact between the United States and Israel, reported The Jerusalem Post.
Netanyahu said such developments “we could only dream about, but which now we have the opportunity to implement.”
In the previous call on Nov. 19, Netanyahu thanked Trump for the decision to no longer call Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal.

Prophesy against him.” (Ezekiel 38:2) Iran announced last week that they will, for the first time, hold joint war drills with China, and Russia. One rabbi, an end-of-days expert, stated that this will bring together all the elements “to end all of history.”

Monster black hole discovered that defies explanation
Black holes are inherently mysterious objects. Just when we think we understand how big they can get under various circumstances, we go and find new ones that bend the rules. Now, astronomers have found a stellar black hole in our galaxy that’s so big it defies explanation.

The elder brother is the dark contrast which heightens the glowing picture of the repentant prodigal; as the gargoyle does the beauty of the angel faces on the cathedral font.
When we look at sin, not in its theological aspects, but in its everyday clothes, we find that it divides itself into two kinds. We find that there are sins of the body and sins of the disposition; or, more narrowly, sins of the passions, including all forms of lust and selfishness, and sins of the temper. The prodigal is the instance in the New Testament of sins of passion - the elder brother of sins of temper. Now we might be disposed to think that the prodigal is the worse sinner of these two; but it is at least worthy of remark that as the story ends, we see him found, forgiven, restored; whilst the elder brother is still outside the house, and an absentee from the feast. Does Christ mean that the ill-tempered murmuring of the Pharisee is more hopeless than the passion of the publican and sinner? We must not press the thought too far; but we may at least ask whether we are harboring, beneath a very respectable, moral exterior, the spirit of the elder brother, who plods daily to work, and is accounted a paragon of filial dutifulness, but is left without the door.
One has made a careful analysis of the ingredients that went to make up that one spiteful speech; they come out thus: jealousy, anger, pride, uncharity, cruelty, self-righteousness, sulkiness, touchiness, doggedness. "His speech, like the bubble escaping to the surface of the pool, betrays the rottenness beneath." Let us carefully read our hearts, lest there be any trace of this spirit in ourselves, when others are pressing into the kingdom with joy.
Some 88 education, civil-rights and religious organizations called on U.S. Department of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos on Wednesday to prevent federal funds from being used by higher-education Middle East Studies programs that support an academic boycott of Israel.
The groups, led by the AMCHA Initiative, cited examples, including a University of Michigan professor who supports boycotting Israel denying to write a letter of recommendation for a student wanting to study at Tel Aviv University; the Pitzer College entire faculty body voting in November to suspend the school's study-abroad program at the University of Haifa; and New York University's Department of Social and Cultural Analysis passing a resolution of non-cooperation in May with the university's school in Israel.
"It is of particular concern that more than half the directors of currently Title VI-funded Middle East Studies National Resource Centers (NRCs) have pledged support for an academic boycott of Israel or engaged in boycott-compliant behavior, including attempts to shut down their universities' study abroad programs in Israel, as have these centers' affiliated faculty," stated the letter.
Title VI under the Higher Education Act of 1965 provides federal funds for international-studies and foreign-language centers at U.S. universities.
"While acknowledging that a faculty member's right to express support for an academic boycott of Israel is protected by academic freedom, were the director or affiliated faculty of an NRC to implement an academic boycott of Israel or any other country within their center's purview, it would explicitly contravene the purposes of Title VI and the will of Congress," stated the groups.
"It is unacceptable that federal funds could be used to implement an academic boycott that directly contravenes the purposes for which these funds have been granted. Area studies programs whose directors or affiliated faculty engage in such behavior should be ineligible to receive or renew Title VI funding."
The groups asked DeVos to issue a statement warning NRC directors and affiliated faculty that implementing an academic boycott of one of the countries in the NRC's purview would be a direct subversion of the stated purpose of Title VI funding, and require area studies' program directors applying for or renewing NRC or FLAS funding to sign a statement affirming that neither they nor any of their program's affiliated faculty will, as part of their academic responsibilities, implement an academic boycott of any of the countries within the purview of their program in such a way as to restrict or limit the academic opportunities of their students or colleagues.
(December 3, 2019 / MEMRI) A senior adviser to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said last week that it was “not possible” for the Islamic world to give up on Jerusalem, and called for the creation of an Islamic “army for Palestine.”
Retired Turkish general Adnan Tanriverdi, the founder of Turkish security firm SADAT International Defense Consulting and a chief adviser to Erdoğan, made the remarks during a speech at the “International Israel Ethnic Discrimination Conference: Dimensions, Applications, And Methods Of Struggle,” which took place on Nov. 29-30 at the Mariott Hotel in Istanbul.
In his speech, Tanriverdi “emphasized that it was not possible for the Islamic world to give up on Jerusalem,” and said that “Israel governed 85 percent of Palestinian land,” according to a report by Turkey’s state-run Anadolu Ajansi news agency.
“The Islamic world should prepare an army for Palestine from outside Palestine. Israel should know that if it bombs [Palestine] a bomb will fall on Tel Aviv as well,” said Tanriverdi according to the report.
We are facing a corporate debt bomb that is far, far greater than what we faced in 2008, and we are being warned that this "unexploded bomb" will "amplify everything" once the financial system starts melting down. Thanks to exceedingly low interest rates, over the last decade U.S. corporations have been able to go on the greatest corporate debt binge in history.
It has been a tremendous "boom", but it has also set the stage for a tremendous "bust". Large corporations all over the country are now really struggling to deal with their colossal debt burdens, and defaults on the riskiest class of corporate debt are on pace to hit their highest level since 2008. Everyone can see that a major corporate debt disaster is looming, but nobody seems to know how to stop it.
At this point, companies listed on our stock exchanges have accumulated a total of almost 10 trillion dollars of debt. That is equivalent to approximately 47 percent of U.S. GDP...
A decade of historically low interest rates has allowed companies to sell record amounts of bonds to investors, sending total U.S. corporate debt to nearly $10 trillion, or a record 47% of the overall economy.
In recent weeks, the Federal Reserve, the International Monetary Fund and major institutional investors such as BlackRock and American Funds all have sounded the alarm about the mounting corporate obligations.
We have never witnessed a corporate debt crisis of this magnitude.
Corporate debt is up a whopping 52 percent since 2008, and this bubble is continually growing.
And actually the 10 trillion dollar figure is the most conservative number out there. Because if you add in all other forms of corporate debt, the grand total comes to 15.5 trillion dollars. The following comes from Forbes...
Total corporate debt is actually much higher. Adding the debt of small medium sized enterprises, family businesses, and other business which are not listed in stock exchanges ads another $5.5 trillion. In other words, total US corporate debt is $15.5 trillion, 74% of US GDP.
Needless to say, this mountain of corporate debt is definitely not sustainable, and I have already noted that defaults are rising. One expert recently explained that all of this debt is "an exploded bomb" and that at some point something will come along to "trigger the explosion"...
"We are sitting on the top of an unexploded bomb, and we really don't know what will trigger the explosion," said Emre Tiftik, a debt specialist at the Institute of International Finance, an industry association.
Right now a lot of large corporations are so maxed out that they can barely service their debts. So when things start getting really bad for the economy, we could be facing a wave of defaults unlike anything we have ever seen before.
When asked about what this will mean during the next recession, a finance professor at the University of Pennsylvania warned that it will "make everything happen faster, larger, worse"...
"It's going to amplify everything," said Krista Schwarz, a finance professor at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. "It's going to make everything happen faster, larger, worse. The recession would just be that much deeper."
In addition to our looming corporate debt crisis, U.S. consumers are 14 trillion dollars in debt, state and local government debt levels are at record highs, and the U.S. national debt just hit the 23 trillion dollar mark.
If you can believe it, we have actually added another 1.3 trillion dollars to the national debt just since last Thanksgiving...
The federal debt has increased by $1,303,466.578.471.45 since last Thanksgiving, according to data released by the U.S. Treasury.
That is the largest Thanksgiving-to-Thanksgiving increase in the debt in nine years. The last time the debt increased more from Thanksgiving to Thanksgiving was in 2010, when it increased by $1,785,995,360,978.10.
It also equals approximately $10,137.48 per household in the United States.
Adding 1.3 trillion dollars to the national debt in 12 months while things are still relatively stable is utter insanity, and what we are doing to future generations of Americans is beyond criminal.
And we aren't even spending the money well. In fact, Senator Rand Paul continues to document how we are wasting money in some of the most ridiculous ways imaginable...
Sen. Rand Paul is continuing to expose the rampant waste of tax dollars by our government agencies. In a special Fall edition of his Waste Report, the Kentucky senator highlights some of the most wasteful expenditures of our federal government, including a half-a-million-dollar toilet nobody could use and a $22 million project to bring Serbian cheeses up to international standards.
"Once again, The Waste Report takes a closer look at just some of what the federal government is doing with the American people's hard-earned money, this time including stories of it continuing to turn over so many taxpayer dollars to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, funding research that involves hooking Zebrafish on nicotine, buying textbooks for Afghan students that are subpar or sitting in warehouses, and more in a list that totals over $230 million," states a press release from Sen. Paul's office.
Of course it isn't just the United States that is drowning under an ocean of red ink. As Bloomberg has detailed, when you total up all forms of debt in the world it comes to a grand total of 250 trillion dollars...
Zombie companies in China. Crippling student bills in America. Sky-high mortgages in Australia. Another default scare in Argentina.
A decade of easy money has left the world with a record $250 trillion of government, corporate and household debt. That's almost three times global economic output and equates to about $32,500 for every man, woman and child on earth.
So if you have a household of four, your share comes to $130,000.
Are you ready to pay up?
In the end, all of this debt will never be paid off. Instead, the bubble will just keep ballooning until it inevitably bursts.
And when it finally bursts, many are warning of a complete and total meltdown. In fact, Rick Ackerman believes that "a Mad Max scenario" is likely...
Ackerman contends, "I am a little more bearish than that. I see a Mad Max scenario as inevitable. . . . I try not to think about it because we've all got lives to live and kids to raise. . . . When you go back to the calculous of deflation and that every penny of every debt must be paid, if not by the borrower then by the lender, we have already put ourselves into a condition where Social Security is going to fail.
Medicare is going to fail. All the 'just-in-time' deliveries are going to be in jeopardy. Food from the grocery stores, one day shipping from Amazon, I don't see how all these things can continue to operate in a condition other than in the false prosperity that we have now. We are at the pinnacle of affluence."
I haven't been able to find anyone that can logically argue that the road that we are currently on has a positive ending.
The truth is that we are headed for complete and total disaster, and the only real debate is about how long it will take for us to get there.
So enjoy these moments of relative stability while you still can, because it is only a matter of time before we go over the precipice.
