“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

There is no God. All of the wonders around us are accidental. No Almighty hand made a thousand million stars. They made themselves. No power keeps them on their steady course. The earth spins itself to keep the oceans from falling off to the sun. The earth gives itself day and night, tilts itself so that we get seasons. Without the magnetic poles man would be unable to navigate the trackless oceans of water and air, but they just grew there.

The human heart will beat for 70 or eighty years without faltering. How does it get sufficient rest between beats?

A kidney will filter poison from the blood, and leave the good things alone. How does it know one from the other? How about the sugar thermostat in the pancreas? It maintains a level of sugar in the blood sufficient for energy; without it, all of us would fall into a coma and die.

Who gave the human tongue flexibility to form words – and a brain to understand them – but denied this to all the animals? Do infants teach themselves to cry when they are hungry or hurt?

Who showed a womb to take the love of two persons and keep splitting a tiny fertilized ovum until, in time, a baby would have a proper number of fingers, eyes, ears and hair in the right places and come into the world when it is strong enough to sustain life?   (unknown)

There is no God?

“The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God...” Psalm 14:1

My friend God designed you in eternity past.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. Psalm 139: 14-16

God has made you and you are accountable to Him.

I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm....” Jeremiah 27:5

“Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:4

The good news is that God has provided a way to remove your sin and give you His Righteousness.

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” John 3:36

Faith and repentance are two sides of the same coin. Saving faith involves transferring your hope of salvation from anything and everything you have or might have or might trust in for salvation, and transferring it to Christ and Christ alone.
