A Great Transition

Paul gives us insight into the times immediately preceding the tribulation period. In 1 Thessalonians 5:2 he talks about the coming day of the Lord, or the tribulation period (“The day of the Lord so cometh”). This seven year peace treaty will initiate the tribulation period, according to Daniel 9:27, “And he shall confirm the covenant for with many (Israel and the world) for one week” (seven years).This peace treaty, which Antichrist signs, will promise peace and safety to Israel and the world.

In verse 3 Paul says, “Peace and safety; then sudden destruction.”  The implication is that preceding the peace treaty there will be a great lack of peace and safety or security. The world will be going through a time of unprecedented turmoil. Out of that turmoil something new will happen, for the first time in all of history the whole world will be rejoicing in a guarantee of world-wide peace and safety. How will it be possible to bring this about? I believe the answer is rather obvious; the turmoil and unrest confusion in the world will be so great and so unprecedented that the nations and the world’s leaders will be crying out for an answer and be willing to pay any price to get it.

I believe that today we are seeing the stage being set for this time of unprecedented unrest and turmoil.

There is a transition taking place in the Arab world, a transition from a state of quiet and stability to a time of turmoil and confusion and radical Islamic fundamentalism.

This transition has been underway for some time.  Thirty years ago it began in Iran with the overthrow of the Shah and the transition to an Islamic Fundamentalist state. This new Iran has brought unprecedented terror and chaos to the world and they are promising the world a nuclear holocaust in the near future.

In Turkey this transition has been going for several years now and seems about to be completed. Turkey is making the transition to an Islamic State. Pakistan has been going through a similar transition. Al Qaida is on the same quest to bring radical Islamic Fundamentalism to the whole world. They had succeeded in Afghanistan and are now trying to restore what they have recently lost.

Iraq is making this same transition at this time. The dictatorship has been removed and a radical Islamic state is the likely end result.

In Lebanon a transition has taken place from an Orthodox Christian State to a radical Islamic Shia government, controlled by Hezbollah, a proxy of Iran.

At the present time we are seeing the “days of rage” unleashing an earthquake of change in the Arab world. These changes are not transitions to democracies. Islam will never tolerate democracy; democracy is the exact opposite to the very essence of what Islam is. Islam makes it very clear that their objective is nothing less than a world-wide Caliphate or kingdom ruled by sharia law not democracy.

In all of the following Arab States the transition is now underway, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, Sudan and Bahrain. In Saudi Arabia and Syria the warnings of unrest are being sounded.

In France the warning of a civil war is being heard. The Muslim minority has provoked the ire of the native French. All of Europe, including England is in danger of a serious backlash that could bring serious consequences to the peace. There are also reports of unrest in China.

In the third world countries we are told that one billion people are spending two thirds of their income on food. We are also told that there are unprecedented increases coming in the cost of food. These increases would leave a billion people without food. In the past few years we have seen food riots that have endangered the survival of governments. Even as I write this article reports are coming in of major food riots in New Delhi. The future for the third world seems to be a plunge into riots and rage against governments and leaders.

Another source of chaos and distress that will shake the foundations of societies is the seemingly inevitable world-wide economic collapse that is coming. Many will lose their jobs and many will lose their incomes from whatever source they may be. Savings will be lost and despair and anger will spill over into the streets. Society will suffer a total breakdown. We do not wish this on the world, but secular experts and financial advisors are sounding this alarm. It seems to be inevitable, even our Canadian Finance Minister has advised Canadians to be prepared for hard financial times.

Perhaps the most startling commentary of recent days is the suggestion that America is being sold down the road to socialism. The commentator went on to say, when the American people wakeup to that fact and to the realization of what it will mean for them, there will be demonstrations and riots in the streets. He said, the leaders of this movement toward socialism will do what socialism has always done, they will turn their power on the people and blood will flow in American streets. Some maintain that detention camps are already being prepared across America. This seems to be over the edge, but there is much evidence to back this suggestion up. We do not want to be set aside as conspiracy theorists or be caught up in politics, but we need to be aware of the dark clouds forming around us.

The coming tribulation period seems to be preceded by chaos and turmoil that is totally unprecedented in all of history. Into that environment Antichrist will come and miraculously bring solutions and peace and safety. That will bring about admiration and acclaim from the whole world. Revelation 6:2 describes his coming in peace to conquer the whole world, he has a bow but no arrows, “And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”

The signs of the times are multiplying all around us; can we see them and understand what they mean?

Jesus spoke to the scribes and Pharisees, “He answered and said unto them, when it is evening, ye say, it will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, it will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?” (Matthew 16:2-3).

The hope of the world is Jesus Christ. His promise to all who will turn to Him in repentance and faith is salvation of the soul and deliverance from the wrath to come.

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ”  (1 Thess. 5:9).

“And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come” (1 Thess. 1:10).

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth” (Rev. 3:10).                                                  

Understanding Islam

The world of Islam is a divided world; the two main groups are Sunni and Shia.  Religion permeates every aspect of life in the Muslim world. To better understand the events which are now reshaping our world, we need a better understanding of Islam.

The division between Sunni and Shia began shortly after the Prophet Muhammad’s death. The division was over who should succeed the prophet.

The Shia's believe their imams have special qualities that have been granted not only to Muhammad but also to other imams. They believe that their imams are immaculate from sin and human error and can understand and interpret the hidden inner meaning and teachings of Islam.

Islam has an end time theology, they believe that a saviour (known as the Mahdi) will come to deliver Islam and set up a perfect and just Islamic society, a world-wide caliphate or Islamic kingdom. While the Sunni differ from the Shia on the nature of the Mahdi, they also expect his coming.

The Shia's believe that the Mahdi will come in a time of great cataclysmic war and rescue Islam. The former president of Iran, Ahmadinejad, was preparing for the coming of the Mahdi and was prepared to initiate a cataclysmic war to facilitate the return of the Mahdi. The great fear is that this Shia conviction removes all restraints to the use of nuclear weapons, which the Iranians are soon to possess.

The Sunni’s have, over the years, become complacent with regard to their Islamic practices. A movement from within the Sunni’s is striving to return them to their roots. This drive to return to fundamental Islam is called the Wahabi movement. Al Qaida are a part of the Wahabi movement and it drives them to war against Muslims who are complacent about Islam and the establishing of a world-wide Islamic caliphate. ISIS are an extension of that movement.

Although the Sunni's and Shia's agree on the core fundamentals of Islam there is strife between them. The clash between them across the Arab world is the greatest single cause of conflict around the globe. This Sunni-Shia conflict is taking place within countries and between countries. I believe an understanding of this conflict will shed light on the political and power alignments now being so drastically reshaped. I believe within this issue of the Sunni-Shia conflict we will find the explanation for the raging conflicts being waged within and without the Muslim world. This conflict has been on going for a thousand years

We need to look at the alignment of the Sunni's and the Shia's in Arab countries. The Shias make up approximately 10-15 % of the Muslim world. The Sunni represent about 85 %. It is the alignment of these two groups that is of great significance.

Iran is the main Shia stronghold with 89% Shia. The real Mideast problem is found in the attempt by Iran to extend its influence over other countries. Iraq is 63% Shia, but until the fall of Sadam Hussein it was dominated by a Sunni government. A Shia government is now in place and Iran is working to exploit this to bring Iraq into the Shia camp.

Lebanon, apart from the Orthodox Christians, is 38% Sunni and 23% Shia. Through the efforts of Hezbollah, which is Shia and also an Iranian proxy, Lebanon now has a Shia government.

Two years ago the king of Jordan warned that a “Shia crescent” was being established across the region. He was referring to Iran, Iraq and Syria (Which is Sunni but entering into an alliance with Iran) and also to Lebanon, although it is more Sunni than Shia, it now has a Shia dominated government.

Egypt is a Sunni country that has been controlled by a secular government and is now headed for a Muslim controlled government. I say this because when elections are held 95% of Egyptians are Muslim and a recent poll indicated that 95% of those surveyed said they want an Islamic government.

There is high probability that an Islamic Egyptian government will become a radical Fundamental Islamic State, similar to Iran. In a recent You Tube video two million Egyptians in Tahrir Square chanted, “To Jerusalem we are heading; martyrs in the millions.” These revolutions are not democratic but are Islamic in nature. In Tunisia demonstrators shouted, “Death to the Jews.”

Let me set the scene. The majority of Islam is Sunni, 85%, the Sunni’s, apart from the Wahabi movement, are, and have been more aligned with the western nations. I believe the Obama administration is of the opinion that the best way to neutralize Iran and the aggressive Shia move to dominate the Mideast is to work to strengthen the Sunni alliance. That explains why Obama wants a Sunni Muslim government in Egypt. It also explains why Obama is working so hard to draw Syria out of her alliance with Iran. Syria is 74% Sunni and Obama is betting that he can draw Syria back into the Sunni camp. The Sunni alliance that Obama is dreaming of is Saudi Arabia, Syria, Jordan, Turkey, the Palestinians, Egypt and the rest of the Gulf States; which are predominately Sunni. Hamas are also Sunni, though they are in alliance with Iran, the hope is that Hamas can yet be split from Iran because they are Sunnis.

In all of this Israel is, and will be at some future point, the bargaining chip for Obama to win over the Arabs who hate Israel with a demonic passion.

Behind all of this is another factor. Saudi Arabia is the recognized leader of the Muslim world. The Iranian revolutionary leader, Ayatollah Khomeini attacked Saudi Arabia by calling it “An unpopular and corrupt dictatorship and an American lackey ripe for revolution.” It seems that Iran aspires to become the superpower of the Mideast and that Saudi Arabia stands in its way.

It has been stated that one of the reasons that Iran wants a nuke is to intimidate the Saudi’s. In view of that, it is interesting that Saudi Arabia has acquired two nuclear weapons from Pakistan, another Sunni country. The potential exists for a war between Saudi Arabia and Iran. In the event of an Iranian victory or in the event of an uprising and the overthrow of the Saudi rulers, Iran would be the undisputed leader of the entire Islamic world.

Iran is also seeking to gain power by controlling the world’s oil supply. Iran is making inroads into a weak and divided Iraq. Iraq is 63% Shia and most of them are in the eastern part of Iraq where 80% of the oil is located. If Iran could take over this area (the intimidation of a nuclear weapon would make it possible) she could control the Strait of Tears, at the bottom of the Red Sea. Iran would then control both the Strait of Hormuz and the Strait of Tears which could effectively shut off the world’s oil supply from passing through the Suez Canal. There are not enough ships available to transport the world’s oil around the southern tip of Africa. Iran could totally control the world’s oil supply.

We know two things; first Israel is the focus of all of the nations of the world. The goal is to deliver her to her Arab enemies for destruction. The UN Security Council voted unanimously to remove Israel from Judea and Samaria. The US vetoed the motion, I believe they are just waiting for the right moment to play the Israeli card and hand Israel over to her antagonists.

We believe that the war of Psalm 83 will factor in this coming scenario.

We also know that there will be a peace treaty, which will be a false treaty and will only be a temporary respite for Israel.

We do not know the details as to how all of this will work out; we do know that the Lord has a plan to deal with the rebellious nations as the age comes to a climatic end.   

Warning Signs

All throughout scripture we read about a great day of judgment that is to come upon the world at the end of this present age. It is referred to as the tribulation period, the Day of the Lord and the day of vengeance of God. “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be” (Matthew 24:21). “For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain” (Isaiah 26:21).

In Matthew 24 Jesus gives warnings as to what that day will be like. We have similar descriptions in other scriptures.

As we read the news lines of the present times we see the shadows of these coming cataclysmic events. They are many and varied. In this article we will catch a glimpse of these foreshadows of the soon coming tribulation period. These things ought to cause men and women to tremble with fear. Only those who are in Christ will escape this terrible hour. “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth” (Revelation 3:10).

I will give you excerpts of some news items which foreshadow the coming tribulation period.

From the New York Times we have some excerpts.

“Major disasters like terrorist attacks and mass epidemics raise confounding issues for rescuers, doctors and government officials. They also pose bewildering legal questions, including some that may be painful to consider, like how the courts would decide who gets life-saving medicine if there are more victims than supplies. 

But courts, like fire departments and homicide detectives, exist in part for gruesome what-ifs. So this month, an official state legal manual was published in New York to serve as a guide for judges and lawyers who could face grim questions in another terrorist attack, a major radiological or chemical contamination or a widespread epidemic. 

Quarantines. The closing of businesses. Mass evacuations. Warrantless searches of homes. The slaughter of infected animals and the seizing of property. When laws can be suspended and whether infectious people can be isolated against their will or subjected to mandatory treatment. It is all there, in dry legalese, in the manual, published by the state court system and the state bar association. But the guide also presents a sober rendition of what the realities might be in dire times.”

In the above New York Times article we see that the people of the world are aware of the coming cataclysmic scenario which is the tribulation period, even though they do not recognize it as such.

In another revealing article we can discern the coming collapse of the U.S. economy, which I believe is deliberately being destroyed.

 “President Obama‘s budget, released Monday, was conceived as a blueprint for future spending, but it also paints the bleakest picture yet of the current fiscal year, which is on track for a record federal deficit and will see the government’s overall debt surpass the size of the total U.S. economy.”

We are told that for every point in the rise interest rates, America will pay an extra 140 billion on its debt. We are now being told the threat of the loss of oil production because of the troubles in the Mid-east and the resulting spike of oil prices will bring down the US and the world’s economies.

The warning bells are sounding and yet the message does not seem to penetrate. America is declining in political influence and economic power. The American withdrawal from the Mideast will be complete when she withdraws her troops from Iraq. The American fall from the role of superpower has been swift and is about to be completed. This sudden change is an indication of the times, as American power has stood in the way of the fulfilment of end time prophecy.

Jesus said, “And in the morning, it will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? (Matthew 16:3). Today God is speaking and many are not listening.

In the Sydney Morning Herald we read the following item.

“A severe drought is threatening the wheat crop in China, the world's largest wheat producer, resulting in shortages of drinking water for people and livestock.

China has been essentially self-sufficient in grain for decades, for national security reasons. Any move by China to import large quantities of food in response to the drought could drive international prices even higher than the record levels recently reached.

''China's grain situation is critical to the rest of the world - if they are forced to go out on the market to procure adequate supplies for their population, it could send huge shockwaves through the world's grain markets,'' said Robert Zeigler, the director-general of the International Rice Research Institute in Los Banos, Philippines.”

For some time now numerous warnings have been sounded of a coming world-wide famine. In the third world a total of 1 billion people are spending 2/3 of their income on food. Large price rises now being forecast would put the price of food out of their reach and indicates a disastrous famine is imminent.

We read in Revelation 6:5-6 about the black horse of famine early in the tribulation period, “And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” In the setting of the times a penny was equal to a day’s wage, which indicates the famine of that coming time. A days wage spent on food would leave nothing for the other necessities of life, their daily bread would be lacking.

This is but another warning that seems to be going unheard.

In another news report we read, “Thus far in 2011, there’s been more UFO sightings worldwide in just these first 44 days of the new year than at any time in previous years,” say a host of well-known optical physicists and prominent UFO investigators in the United States, in the European Union, in China, in Russia, in Australia and in the Middle East.”

I believe, along with many others, that UFO’s are the work of demon spirits sent to deceive men and women. We know that the tribulation period will be marked by great deception perpetuated by demons. “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” (2 Thessalonians 2:9). We know that Satan works his wonders and deception through demons. This is another warning that the time is at hand.

The move toward a world currency is move toward world government. In a recent article we see the continuing push to bring about this world currency.

“France, as current head of the Group of 20 countries, will help the transition to a global financial system based on 'several international currencies', French Economy Minister Christine Lagarde said today.” The IMF and the UN are also calling for a new world currency.

The crisis of the US dollar has brought the nations to the point of demanding a new world currency. This is another warning to us of the soon coming kingdom of Antichrist. We see him in Revelation 13:17 controlling the currency of the world, “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

How many warnings do we need to get the message, Christ is soon to come.

The signs continue to multiply as we read about the preparations for the building of third temple. The Temple Institute revealed the blue prints for the building of the third Temple in recent news report.

“In his recent USA speaking engagement tour, (January 2011), Rabbi Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute revealed to the public for the very first time detailed construction plans for the Chamber of Hewn Stone: the seat of the Great Sanhedrin which is a central component of the Holy Temple complex on the Temple Mount. 

These complete and highly intricate plans constitute the first stage of an historical undertaking of the Temple Institute: the drafting of blueprints for the entire Holy Temple complex. These plans, drawn up by a top Israeli architectural firm hired by the Temple Institute, take into account the specific requirements of the Sanhedrin assembly hall, known historically as the Chamber of Hewn Stone.”

The scripture tells us clearly that the third Temple will be standing when Antichrist comes to Israel.

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).

Another sign of the times is the push to revive the ancient Sanhedrin. An unofficial Sanhedrin was formed last year but now there is a move to restore its power and influence.

“According to a joint proposal penned by Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya, academics Tommy Steiner, Maaike van der Brugghen and Lea Landman; a new Jewish council based on the Sanhedrin – a council of Jewish jurists that met in Judea until it was dissolved by the Roman emperor in 358 CE – could provide a better ‘framework’ for discourse between Jews in Israel and those around the world. In its proposed reincarnation, the Sanhedrin consisting of Diaspora and Israelis leaders would advise Israeli politicians – although it would not have a direct part in the decision-making process.”

“A new Sanhedrin could be recognized as a consultative body to Israeli decision-makers, to the prime minister, the president, and the Knesset,” they wrote. We see a stirring in the hearts of Israeli’s toward a revival of, and a return to Judaism.

We are approaching the restoration of the situation that existed when the Lord left off dealing with Israel. The situation as God resumes His dealing with Israel will be; the people restored to the land, the temple rebuilt, the whole sacrificial system restored and a Roman dictator, the Antichrist, ruling over Israel during the last half of the tribulation period. The stage is being set for the Lord to consummate His dealings with His people Israel.

In the meantime the world faces the awful prospect of imminent tribulation period. Now is the time to proclaim the gospel to all around us. Now is the time to live pure and productive lives. Now is the time to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. We do not want to be ashamed before Him at His coming.

1 John 2:28, “And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.”     

World-Wide Socialism (revisited)

The United Nations has embarked on a program to establish world-wide socialism. The one world government the United Nations has in mind is a socialist state. The following news clip clearly demonstrates this to be the UN objective.

“The United Nations, which marked a ‘World Day of Social Justice’ on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, is calling for a ‘new era’ in which all the people of the world have access to basic services and ‘decently’ paying jobs.”

“According to the U.N., 80 percent of the world’s people lack ‘adequate social protection’.”

“To eliminate the problem, the U.N. is trying to establish what it calls a global ‘social protection floor.’  Such a ‘floor’ would guarantee food security, health services for all, and old-age pensions for the 80 percent of the world’s people believed to lack such protections.”

“In his message urging ‘social justice for all,’ U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said, ‘No one should live below a certain income level, and everyone should have access to essential public services such as water and sanitation, health and education’.” The word “social justice” is a code word for communism.

No clearer definition of socialism could possibly be given, it is clearly a world-wide government based on socialism that the UN seeks. Such objectives at first glance seem to be noble and good. The problem is that history teaches that socialism has never delivered on any of these promises. In fact history clearly teaches that socialism delivers poverty, persecution, oppression, imprisonment, hunger, mass murder, destruction and a totalitarian state with a totalitarian dictator. Socialism is incapable of producing anything else, let the record speak for itself. Sooner or later socialism pulls everything down, whether it is morality or the family or law or property or productivity or life itself.

I believe that there is a world-wide socialist government coming and what the United Nations is now advocating, is setting the stage for the arrival of the Kingdom of the beast.

The kingdom of Antichrist is a world-wide socialist state. The scriptures reveal this to be the case. In Revelation we have a description of the kingdom of the beast. That description reveals classic socialism. "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name" (Revelation 13:15-17).

Notice first that in this kingdom all are included, there are no exceptions. The government is the final and absolute authority; that is classic socialism. We see that which each person can buy or sell is controlled by government. Everyone in the whole world will receive the same goods and services. That is exactly what the United Nations is now proposing, that is communism. Remember that communism is the final phase in the destination of socialism.

We can assume a number of things about the socialist kingdom of Antichrist. We can assume them because they are always true of socialism and communism whenever they have been found or wherever they are found in the world today.

The first fact about socialism is that in its final stages it resorts to mass murder to consolidate its power. History tells us that Stalin murdered 20-50 million men and women in the process of consolidating his Socialist Soviet Republic. History also tells us that Hitler murdered 20 million men and women as he consolidated his Socialist National State. History tells that Mao murdered 40 million men and women as he consolidated his Chinese Communist State. There are other cases as well, not only did they murder but they persecuted and imprisoned and tortured and abused multiplied millions, history records the story. The US congressional records show that 150 million peoples have been slaughtered by the socialists, in the last century, in times of peace.

We see that this will be true of the socialist dictatorship of Antichrist. The book of Revelation reveals that ¼ to ½ half of the world’s population will be slaughtered by Antichrist as he seeks to consolidate his socialist kingdom. He will slaughter those who stand in the way of his socialist system, tribulation Saints, Jews, Muslims and Capitalists alike will be put to the sword by him, for refusal to conform to his socialist agenda. That will include all who refuse accept his program and receive the certifying mark of the beast.

The second fact about socialism is that it always breeds despotic dictators. The masses have only one purpose and that is to serve the dictator. Oppression is the center piece of socialism, history records it. The masses will finally rise up and throw off the repression of socialism if given an opportunity. Socialism can only be maintained at the barrel of a gun. Again we have a reflection of the kingdom of the beast.

We have some terrifying quotations concerning socialism.

John Stormer;  author of ‘None dare call it treason,’ “In those countries where socialism has control, millions have been murdered; the legacy of communism is that it is the greatest killing machine in all of human history.”

Hon. Ed Meese;  former US Attorney General. “Millions have been enslaved, imprisoned and oppressed by communism; instead of the utopian society you have murder and enslavement.”

History has proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that the free enterprise system provides more for anyone willing to work (a biblical injunction) for it, than any other system.

The question arises as to why would the left be pushing their socialist agenda on the world? There are only two possibilities. They are ignorant or they are evil. If you read the books and speeches of the left you will be see without doubt that the socialists are tearing down the present structure of society to build their brave new socialist world. And they are very close to reaching their goal.

Some mistakenly say that communism is dead. Today communism is very much alive, though sometimes under a different name. Most people under fifty years of age have no idea what communism means. Many of those who promote socialism do not understand the end result of socialism.   

Today 1½ billion people live in communist countries. The openly communist countries are China, Cuba, North Korea and Viet Nam. There are six countries in Latin America which are openly communist. The force behind Russia is still communism. Many countries of the world are heading down the path of socialism which ends up ultimately in a communist state. Europe is deeply entrenched in socialism and being prepared to accept the socialism that Antichrist will deliver.

America is heading down the road to socialism at a breakneck pace. There is no doubt in my mind that when Americans wake up and realize what socialism means to them, they will demonstrate and rebel against the authority.  The authority will do what socialists always do when their agenda is challenged. American blood will flow in the streets.

The main stream media has imbibed deeply of socialism. As a result of this influence, the political parties, both Liberal and Conservative, Democratic and Republican have shifted to the left of center on the political spectrum.  The Liberals and Democrats have shifted into socialism. There is now no opposition to socialism. The socialist agenda has infiltrated both mainstream America and Canada.

In 1958 a book was published entitled, “The Naked Communist” by Cleon Skowsky. This book outlined the communist agenda; it lists 45 communist goals to subvert America from within. Every one of those goals has been accomplished and no one seems to notice or care. For the last 50 years these people have been (no doubt some in high places) behind the scenes to move the people and the culture in a direction that is designed to destroy it.

Some of these goals are:

Goal # 28: “To eliminate prayer in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

Goal # 40: “Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.” The family is the basic building block of society and its removal will bring society down.

Goal # 17: “Gain control of the schools and use them as a transmission belt for the promotion of socialism. Soften the curriculum.”

Goal # 24: “Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them ‘censorship’ and a violation of free speech and a free press.”

Goal # 25: “Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography in books, magazines, motion pictures and TV.”

Goal # 26: “Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as normal, natural and healthy.”

Goal # 20-21: “Infiltrate the press and gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.”

Goal # 27: “Infiltrate revealed religion and replace it with ‘social’ religion and discredit the bible.”

 Another objective is to use the feminist movement to get the father out of the home and allow the state to take his place. When Hillary Clinton quoted the socialist line by saying, “It takes village to raise a child,” she understands that the village is the state. The state intervenes in the life of the child through indoctrination in the school system. Lennon said, “Give me a child for four years and the influence will not be broken.” Under socialism the state is the final and ultimate authority and seeks total control of all of society. Freedom is eliminated altogether.

The environmental movement has been taken over by those who are seeking to destroy productivity. Before a new order can be established the old must be torn down. The brave new world they talk about is the world of socialism.

Socialism makes the state the final authority in place of God. It makes man an animal instead of one made in the image of God and accountable to God. Man can be used and manipulated or destroyed at the whim of a dictator. We see this in action in the kingdom of the beast, “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed” (Revelation 13:15).  

That explains why Satan has chosen socialism as the form of government for his kingdom of the beast. Blessing comes from the state instead of God. The states blessings are in the form of welfare and social benefits. The state is looked to and worshipped in place of God. Satan’s plan is to have Antichrist as head of the state and be worshipped in the place of God.

Nietzsche tried to prove to the world that God was dead. Darwin tried to prove to the world that man is a part of the animal kingdom.

Karl Marx realized that the philosophies of these two men would legitimize his own philosophy of communism. He knew that their ideas would justify the brutality and slaughter that would be necessary to implement communism world-wide. Karl Marx attempted to force communism on the world by revolution. In 1883 when he died only nine people showed up for his funeral. The assumption was that communism was dead.

In October of that same year another group met with a different approach to establishing communism. This group was called the Fabien Socialist Society. They decided they would bring socialism to the world incrementally, a little at a time. They called it socialism by evolution instead of revolution. That is what has been going on for the last fifty years in America and Canada.

Communism is the final destination of Socialism; it is the final destination of the road that much of the world is now travelling on. Socialism is best described by two words, “Big Government.” Government controls everything and they use that control to take things from one person and give them to another. That is the program of Antichrist as found in Revelation 13:15 (see above). Big governments will become a one world government.

In order to better facilitate this objective they change the name from communism to socialism. George Bernard Shaw said, “I am a communist but I am not a member of the communist party.” The symbol of the Fabien society is a wolf in sheep clothes.

Whitaker Chambers said, “Communism succeeds because most people who promote communism are not communists. If socialists were called communists it would not succeed.”

The word socialism is a substitute for the word communism and the word progressive is a substitute for socialism. Social action and social justice are code words for socialism. Few understand what is happening. Many just have a good feeling about helping the poor of the world by bringing about the brave new world of socialism. They do not understand that socialism ultimately destroys instead of helping.

The seed is being sown; the groundwork is taking place for the coming kingdom of the beast, a socialist kingdom.

Islam is not the program of Antichrist, which some are proclaiming today. Islam will be destroyed by God in the battle described in Ezekiel chapters 38-39. Ezekiel tells us about that destruction which takes place very early in the tribulation period, “And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel” (Ezekiel 39:2). That destruction is not limited to those on the battle field, but extends to their homelands. Ezekiel 39:6, “And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.” Islam will be decimated, only to have Antichrist further attack it, as he removes all opposition to his socialist world empire.

When Antichrist comes he will deceive Israel, Christendom, the nations and Islam. Islam will be temporarily deceived, thinking that Antichrist is their Mahdi or Messiah. There are many similarities between the Mahdi and the Antichrist as taught in the Bible and in the Koran respectively. When Islam realizes that they have been deceived the war of Ezekiel 38-39 will take place.

Europe has been on the road to socialism for some time and is now being prepared for the socialist dictatorship of the beast. The whole world is being prepared for this brave new socialist world of Antichrist. All those who stand in the way will be slaughtered. That will include those who resist among the Jews and Islam and the tribulation Saints. The world will be almost de-populated.
