The land of Israel was given to the Jews by God. It has never been promised to any other people. God said the land is My land and He promised the land that Abraham sojourned on to the Jewish people forever in an unconditional covenant.
This is found in Genesis 12:1-3, "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."
Genesis 15:18, "In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates."
Man can break covenants and promises but God cannot! Some day Israel will repent and be saved, Romans 11:25-27,"For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins."
We are told that not every Jew will be saved, only those who respond to the Lord in obedience and repentance and faith will be saved. Zechariah 13:8-9, "And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God."
Romans 11:7, "What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded." {Rejection of the truth results in blindness. - The elect are those who according to the foreknowledge of God will respond to the gospel. 1 Peter 1:2, "Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied."}
Zechariah 12:10-12, "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon. And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart."
The land of Israel will someday be totally possessed by the Jewish people, Ezekiel 20:33-37,"As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you: And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant."
Ezekiel 20:40-42, "For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things. I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen. And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers."
"Land for Peace" or a "Two state Solution" is un-Biblical. Joel 3:2, "I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead (Judge) with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land."
A Two State solution is man's idea and not God's. Peace will never be achieved until the Messiah returns to rule on David's throne in Jerusalem, Luke 1:32-33, "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end."
Isaiah 65:17-25 speaks of that day. "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD."
This is God's word, not mine. Look at the Bible from a literal point of view, not allegorical. Do you realize that Jesus was born and raised a Jew? Do you know why He came to this earth and died on the cross? He came to be your Saviour, to deliver you from the judgment of God.
Do you know Jesus as your Savior? Do you know you are a sinner in need of repentance? Here are some verses for you to consider.
Luke 13:3, "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
Psalm 7:11, "God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day."
Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 10:9, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Romans 5:1,"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
If you sincerely desire to know Christ as your Savior, bow your head and pray. Admit you are a sinner. Thank Jesus for dying on the cross and overcoming death for you and paying the penalty for your sins. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. Ask him to come into your heart and life as your Lord and Savior.
