“Ominus Signs All Around”

For some time now reports have been surfacing about mysterious detention camps being built all across the U.S. Some time ago it was leaked that those who hold to conservative values, for example those who are opposed to abortion etc., are a threat to the security of America.

This week the State of Massachusetts passed a law making it mandatory for all citizens to take the vaccination for H1N1 flu. The law states that those who refuse are to be fined $1000 a day. Another law states that those who have been exposed to this new flu can be quarantined against their will in places outside of their own home. Another report said many doctors and health workers have stated clearly that they will not take the shots, they do not feel they are safe. We are told that In France the vaccination is also to be made mandatory. Other persistent reports claim that the H1N1 vaccine is seriously contaminated and could weaken the immune system.

Another news item tells us that an Austrian journalist, Jane Burgermeister has filed criminal charges with the FBI against the World Health Organization, the United Nations and several of the highest ranking government and corporate officials concerning bioterrorism and attempts to commit mass murder. She has also filed an injunction, in America, against forced vaccination. She claims there is a sinister plot to reduce the population of America and other countries through a contaminated vaccine.

We are living in unprecedented times. We know that it has long been the stated goal of the Humanists to reduce the world population to one billion people.

From another perspective Jerome Corsi of World Net Daily stated, "Clearly, the hysteria being generated by the White House over a pandemic possibility appears aimed at some sort of a power grab." WND previously reported on National Security Presidential Directive No. 51 and Homeland Security Presidential Directive No. 20, which allocate to the office of the president the authority to direct all levels of government in the event he declares a national emergency.

Even the Washington Post reported that, "The H1N1 virus so far has been no more deadly than the flu strains seen every fall and winter. And close genetic tracking of the new virus as it circled the globe in the past five months has shown no sign that it is mutating to become more virulent."

Where the truth lies in all these troubling situations we cannot be sure. We hearken back to the days of Hitler's Germany, when the preparations for atrocities were going on behind the scenes, things that seemed too unbelievable to take seriously. We know that the human heart is capable of incredible evil.

It would be good if these situations were just the product of our imaginations but we need to be alert during these troubling days. These situations have the ring of the tribulation period.

What can we do in such times as these? We can pray. We can proclaim the gospel and call on men to repent. We can believe the promises of God. "Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth", Revelation 3:10.
