“World Government Just Keeps Coming”

In one day, January 26, 70,000 jobs were lost world wide. In a revealing statement British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said that the crisis, should give rise to "a new global order". He went on to say, we can view the threats and challenges we face today as the difficult birth-pangs of a new global order-and our task now is nothing less than making the transition through a new internationalism to the benefits of an expanding global society. David Rockefeller said about world government, "When the right crisis comes along the people will accept world government". Gordon Brown says that crisis is now upon us.
The scriptures tell of a great world-wide Kingdom of antichrist in the last days of the last days, a world government Rev. 13:5-8. We have been watching for some time now as the ground work is being laid for this Kingdom. Before this comes to pass the Church will be caught up out of the world, then the antichrist will appear and sign the peace treaty that has so eluded the world to this point.
The world coming together to divide the land of Israel for peace, a world government looming on the near horizon, these are the things that the bible says will happen before the second coming of Christ. We know also that the rapture will take place seven years prior to that. Jesus is coming, but the world is blind to these things. We as believers have no excuse for failing to be ready! Paul said, "But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief". Are you watching and ready?
