Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu vowed on Sunday evening that Israel will continue to be a state which provides equal rights to all its citizens.
Speaking at the annual EMET prize ceremony, Netanyahu said, “Israel stands out, not only to our people, not only because of our achievements in the last century, but also because of what is currently going on around us. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, and it will remain a democratic state with equality for all its citizens. Nothing will change that. It is in our souls and in our character.”
