Senior diplomatic sources are blaming Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the Ambassador in Washington, Ron Dermer, for the deterioration of relations between Israel and the American government.

“We all remember how they went behind Obama’s back to help candidates during the elections. Netanyahu is responsible for this situation,” they said, alluding to the halting of a weapons transport from the US to Israel.
