Russia has been slapped with a new round of sanctions by the European Union and the United States, in light of its involvement with the crisis in the Ukraine.

This time, sanctions target the country’s energy, banking and defense divisions, and come following the tragic downing of a Malaysia Airlines flight over the Ukraine by a reportedly Russian-supplied missile.
