‘Obama Not Welcome’ – Police turn fire hoses on Filipino anti-Obama demonstrators protesting the presidents visit
The protesters held up paper American flags that read ‘Obama not welcome’ to show their outrage over a expected security pact that would increase the presence of the American military in the Philippines. Police clashed with demonstrators, using truncheons, shields and fire hoses to stop the groups movement towards the US Embassy, reports NBC

The British Columbia Health Ministry has admitted that the remains of babies destroyed by abortion in B.C. facilities are ending up in a waste-to-power facility...providing electricity for residents of Oregon. The province’s Health Ministry said ...“biomedical waste” shipped to the U.S. to be incinerated includes “human tissue, such as surgically removed cancerous tissue, amputated limbs, and fetal tissue.”

The Dutch defense department says several NATO member countries scrambled jets Wednesday afternoon after a pair of Russian bomber planes approached their airspace over the North Sea. The Dutch ministry identified the planes as two Russian TU-95 Bears, and said it had launched two F-16s from Volkel air force base to intercept them.  

IRS gives free pass to famous Obama leftist group
On Monday, USA Today published an IRS document confirming that in February the IRS revoked the tax-exempt status for the Patrick Henry Center for Individual Liberty, a small, conservative group founded in 1997 and based in Manassas, Va., that had operated for years as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The center advertises itself as “committed to fostering, promoting, and advocating the restoration of Liberty as the primary object of American society.”  

US troops arrive in Poland for exercises across Eastern Europe amid Ukraine crisis
U.S. Army paratroopers are arriving in Poland on Wednesday as part of a wave of U.S. troops heading to shore up America's Eastern European allies in the face of Russian meddling in Ukraine. Pentagon press secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby said an initial contingent of about 600 troops will head to four countries across Eastern Europe for military exercises over the next month.  

Hamas and Fatah unveil Palestinian reconciliation deal
Rival Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas have announced a reconciliation deal, saying they will try to form a unity government in the coming weeks. Hamas and Fatah split violently in 2007. Previous reconciliation agreements have never been implemented. The deal comes amid troubled peace talks between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Israel.  

Texas AG Abbott Doubles Down on 'Come and Take It' Statement
“This is alarming and disturbing because private property owners in Texas have owned this land that abuts up against the Red River for generations,” Abbott said. “They have cultivated it and they have produced off of it now. "Defla…", Draghi began, before stopping himself and continuing with the term "low inflation." Yet despite Draghi's efforts, the specter of deflation was omnipresent in Washington during the meetings. And it is one that is making central bank heads and government officials nervous across the globe. The IMF in particular is alarmed, with Fund economists warning that there is currently up to a 20 percent risk of a euro zone-wide deflation.

MANILA, Philippines—A 4.6 magnitude earthquake jolted Surigao del Norte Thursday noon but no aftershocks are expected, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.  

6.7 earthquake off Northern Vancouver Island rattles residents
An earthquake off the west coast of Vancouver Island shook coastal residents Wednesday evening. The quake registered a magnitude of 6.7, according to the United States Geological Survey, and it happened at 8:10 p.m.

Four Killed in Kenya Car Bomb
Four people, including two police officers, were killed when a car bomb exploded in Kenya’s capital Nairobi Wednesday night, the Interior Ministry said on its Twitter account.  

Magnitude-6.7 quake off British Columbia coast
The U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center says a magnitude 6.7 quake has been recorded in the Pacific Ocean off the northwest corner of British Columbia's Vancouver Island. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. The U.S. National Tsunami Warning Center in Palmer, Alaska, says there is no danger of a tsunami from the Wednesday night quake.  

India to pay Iran nearly $2 billion in deal to blunt sanctions bite
India is set to pay Iran $1.65 billion over the next three months under an interim nuclear deal that eases sanctions on Tehran and gives it access to $4.2 billion in blocked funds, four sources with knowledge of the matter said.  

Interfaith Panel Denounces a 9/11 Museum Exhibit’s Portrayal of Islam
At issue is whether it is inflammatory for the museum to use terms like “Islamist” and “jihad” in conjunction with the Sept. 11 attacks, without making clear that the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful. The panel has urged the use of more specific language, such as “Al Qaeda-inspired terrorism” and doing more to explain the meaning of jihad.
