US Secretary of State John Kerry has ended his sixth attempt to draw the Palestinians into resumed peace talks with Israel without success. There are no plans at the moment for an announcement on resuming peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters on Thursday. The word from Ramallah was that the Palestinians demand further changes in the Kerry blueprint. Reports that Israel agreed to accept the 1967 lines as the basis for talks were denied in Jerusalem.
