“The Hour Of Compromise”
by Art Sadlier
July 14th, 2016

Compromise is the watchword of our day! All around us we see it! We are immersed in it; we are exposed to it in the Media, in Politics, in School, on T.V., in the Church and in the Family. We are drowning in an atmosphere of Compromise. Up until now Christians have never compromised on the "Big Things" that would be disobedience. We only compromise the little things that don't really matter to God. That is where we greatly err - the little things DO matter to God! One little piece of forbiden fruit on a tree laden with ripe fruit that is about to spoil. It’s not hard to rationalize away that which God forbids.

It is the little things that destroy our lives, our families, and our churches. Solomon said "the little foxes spoil the vines." Paul said "a little leaven (sin) leaveneth the whole lump." Today there is almost nothing a vast number of evangelicals will not rationalize and compromise away. How sad to see compromise in the most committed Christians, in the most devoted families, and the faithful remnant of the churches that have sought to hold true to the Lord and His Word. Compromise is the issue of the present hour. The Evangelical Church has compromised one inch at a time until it is miles away from where God requires it to be.

There is nothing evangelicals will not compromise on. Today, some are compromising on the big things. Some who call themselves Christians are compromising with the Gay agenda.

"Mine eyes eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: He that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me." Psalms 101:6
