Tehran Sunday, Nov. 4, first claimed, then denied, halting 20-percent uranium enrichment – not just hoping to swing the US election in favor of President Barack Obama, but to mask the transfer of the last 600 advanced centrifuges to the underground enrichment plant at Fordo. The Iranians needed to stop work until they were connected to electricity and given dry runs before going into full operation. When that is done, they will be able to boost their output of medium-enriched uranium, a short step to weapons grade material.
