“The Ten Toes of Daniel's Vision - Now in Existence”

Nearly 3.500 years ago God promised Israel in Deuteronomy 28 that He would bless them and make them the head of the Nations if they would obey Him and trust Him. In David's day it actually happened. God also warned Israel, if they refused to obey and trust Him He would bring awesome chastening upon them, at least for a period of time. That chastening began in the seventh century B.C. Israel was set aside and the gentile nations began to dominate and oppress Israel. Luke 21:24 tells us about that time, "and they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations; and Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the gentiles until the times of the gentiles be fulfilled." Notice the phrase, "The times of the gentiles". During these times Israel would be set aside and the gentile nations would be ruling the world, they would have supremacy over the Jews.

In Daniel Chapters 2 and 7 God gave Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel each a vision, these visions brought the same prophetic message. The message told of five great empires which would rule the world during the time that Israel would be set aside, from 586 B.C. until Armageddon.

The Bible tells us that Rome would be the fourth empire and that after a long period of time, a fifth empire would rise out of the Roman Empire. This fifth empire is pictured in Daniel 7:7 as ten horns rising up out of the head of the Roman beast, we refer to it as the Revived Roman Empire. Today the E.U boldly and clearly states that they are the Revived Roman Empire.

Notice what Daniel's prophecy said would happen to the Roman Empire. Daniel 2:40 "and the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron, forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things; and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise". Notice, "as iron that breaketh all these," this is what Rome did as it came to power in the first century B.C. Then notice "shall it break in pieces." This breaking up of the Roman Empire began in 486 A.D. However fragments of the Empire of Rome would continue for a long period of time, as indicated by the long legs of Nebuchadnezzar's image in Daniel 2.

The Roman Empire would continue in the form of the British, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Belgian Empires, all sub Roman empires.

In Dan 2:40 it not only says that the Roman Empire would break in pieces (as above) but that it would "bruise".

I believe this bruising took place after World War II when the Roman sub-empires were forced to give up the Roman Colonial system all around the world. Every one of the sub-Roman empires was involved. Immediately after this the E.U. was born as the Treaty of Rome was signed in 1958. The E.U. is the embryonic form of the coming Revived Roman Empire. At almost the same time Israel was reborn as a nation in 1948. The stage was set for the last drama of the "times of the gentiles" to unfold.

Daniel tells us about the final form of the Roman Empire in Daniel 7:24, "And ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise.." In Revelation we learn more about this last days Empire, And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast." Rev. 17:12. When the antichrist comes on the world scene there will be a ten nation confederacy on the territory of the Old Roman Empire.

Today that ten nation confederacy exists, waiting to be empowered. That ten nation confederacy is called the Western European Union. The following is documentation that this ten nation group is now in existence.

Notice that of the 28 nations that make up the EU only ten are permanent members. The others are associate members or associate partners or observers. The following is a decision taken June 14 2001.

*Following a decision taken on 14 June 2001, the Secretary-General stated during the 1352nd meeting of the Council of Western European Union on 28 June 2001 that, with regard to the period from 1 January 2002, the Member States deemed it unnecessary, in present and foreseeable circumstances, to make any formal change to the statuses of non-full members.

Today, there are only ten full members of what is called the Western European Union, the stage is set for the antichrist to come and bring these ten nations together. Today the EU is preparing to elect a permanent president and to give him great power.We also notice that there is now an association of Nations that border on the Southern Meditereanian, these nations are entering into an association with the EU.

Bible prophecy is being fulfilled exactly as it was given by God 2600 years ago. These and other fulfilled prophecies prove beyond and posibility of a doubt that God is the Sovereign Lord of the universe and that He knows the end from the beginning. The inexplicable question is why men do not bow before Him and acknowledge His Lordship?

If so many prophecies have been fulfilled in great detail, the remaining prophecies will also be fulfilled in the same way.
