“Turkey Calls for Army of Islam to Wage War on Israel?WW3 Imminent”
by Tea Party
March 31st, 2018

( – The nation of Turkey, once a key Western ally in the Middle East, has in recent months been cozying up to Russia and snubbing NATO after years of increased islamization and hostility towards Israel.

Now, top Turkish officials have announced their plans to create an “army of Islam” to destroy the enemy of Muslims worldwide: Israel.

President Recept Tayyip Erdogan and his Justice and Development Party (AKP) have advocated for the 57 member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to join forces and wage war against Israel from all sides.

In an article in the state-sponsored paper, Yeni Şafak, ran an article “A call for urgent action” which was headlined, “What if an army of Islam formed against Israel?” on the paper’s website, according to The Express.

“If the member states of the OIC unite militarily, they will form the world’s largest and most comprehensive army,” the article read.

“The number of active soldiers would be at least 5,206,100, while the defence budget would reach approximately $175billion.”

This was complete with an interactive map illustrating how the military strike on Israel’s entire border could be achieved!

“It is expected that 250,000 soldiers will participate in the first of a possible operation,” the article continued.

“Land, air and naval bases of member states located in the most critical regions will be used. Joint bases will be constructed in a short period of time… It is possible for 500 tanks and armoured vehicles, 100 planes and 500 attack helicopters and 50 ships to mobilise quickly.”

The Express explains that Erdogan has made no attempt to deny this report and has expressed in the past a desire to resurrect an Ottoman Empire in the East.

“The tyrant has established military bases in Qatar and Somalia and recently reached an agreement with Sudan to acquire a Sudanese island in the Red Sea to be used as a military base,” The Express writes.

Meanwhile, Turkey continues to cozy up to Russia and push back against NATO’s calls to punish Russia for the notorious poisoning of ex-Russian spy, Sergei Skripal in the UK. Turkey has enjoyed relatively close ties to Western nations in the past, as one of the most liberal and modern nations in the Middle East, but in recent years the Erdogan regime has become increasingly sympathetic to Islamic interests in the region, as well as increased oppression of its own people.

“Both the US and UK often pander to Turkey due to the country’s strategic location and their control of the second largest military in NATO,” Zero Hedge writes. “This, however, has become much more difficult in recent months due to the increasingly authoritarian governance of the country leading to arrests of western employees, global kidnappings, and blatant defiance of international law.”

“Tensions between NATO and Turkey have also increased following the recent decision by Ankara to purchase Russian-made S-400 anti-air missile systems rather than the US Patriot missiles. According to Turkey the decision for this purchase was due to the vast amount of red tape around the purchase of the Patriot systems (although, they may have dodged a bullet as the Patriots have recently shown to be ineffective),” they explain.

“The Turks have also found themselves quarreling with the US over their support for the Kurds in northern Syria. According to Ankara (and some high level US officials) the Syrian Kurdish group’s armed by the US have very public connections to the terrorist group, the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).”

Things are certainly getting messy in the Middle East, and there’s no telling how quickly things could ramp up. Better get ready–you never know what could happen during such volatile times!
