Water crisis looms as PA refuses to cooperate with Israel
The IDF has warned the international community that the water infrastructure in the West Bank and Gaza will collapse as long as the Palestinian Authority refuses to cooperate with Israel. According to...the joint Israeli-Palestinian water distribution council—which manages water infrastructure in the West Bank—hasn’t met since 2010 due to the Palestinians' refusal to approve water infrastructure upgrades in the West Bank settlements.  

Government Workers Now Outnumber Manufacturing Workers by 9,977,000
The United States lost 9,000 manufacturing jobs in October while gaining 19,000 jobs in government, according to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Government employment grew from 22,216,000 in September to 22,235,000 in October, according to BLS, while manufacturing jobs dropped from 12,267,000 to 12,258,000.  

Leaked Documents Reveal Expansive Soros Funding to Manipulate Federal Elections
Leaked funding documents reveal an effort by George Soros and his foundations to manipulate election laws and process rules ahead of the federal election far more expansively than has been previously reported. ...The leaked documents also reveal deliberate and successful efforts to manipulate media coverage of election issues in mainstream media outlets like the The New York Times.  

Adobe Voco 'Photoshop-for-voice' causes concern
A new application that promises to be the "Photoshop of speech" is raising ethical and security concerns. Adobe unveiled Project Voco last week. The software makes it possible to take an audio recording and rapidly alter it to include words and phrases the original speaker never uttered, in what sounds like their voice. One expert warned that the tech could further undermine trust in journalism.  

German police arrest five in raid on 'IS network'
Five people linked to the so-called Islamic State (IS) group have been arrested in co-ordinated raids in Germany, including a senior Islamist figure, reports say. Flats were raided in northern and western Germany and a mosque was searched near Hanover. Among those arrested was an Iraqi who goes by the alias Abu Walaa, or "the preacher without a face".  

Migrant crisis: Hungary MPs reject Orban anti-refugee bill
Hungary's parliament has rejected an attempt by Prime Minister Viktor Orban to block the settlement of refugees. His ruling Fidesz party failed to attract the two extra opposition votes necessary for a two-thirds majority in parliament. The bill had sought to rebuff an EU-set quota scheme that would relocate 1,294 refugees in Hungary.  

China’s Internet controls will get stricter, to dismay of foreign business
In August, business groups around the world petitioned China to rethink a proposed cybersecurity law that they said would hurt foreign companies and further separate the country from the Internet. On Monday, China passed that law — a sign that when it comes to the Internet, China will go its own way.  

Jury Awards $3 Million To UVA Administrator Over Rolling Stone Story
A jury on Monday awarded $3 million in damages to Nicole Eramo, a University of Virginia administrator who was defamed by Rolling Stone magazine in a now-retracted article about campus rape.  

Hong Kong lawyers prepare protest march after China inflames political crisis
Beijing’s unprecedented eviction of two pro-independence activists from Hong Kong’s parliament has dealt a severe blow to “political extremists”, a Communist party-controlled newspaper has claimed as members of the city’s legal community prepared to take to the streets in protest.  

Iraqi Kurdish Forces Advance as Mass Grave Found Near Mosul
Iraqi Kurdish fighters exchanged heavy fire with militants on Monday as they entered a town held by the Islamic State group east of Mosul, while troops advancing south of the city discovered a mass grave containing some 100 decapitated bodies.

Democratic National Committee interim chairwoman Donna Brazile has already lost her contributor contract with CNN for leaking questions from a CNN town hall to the Clinton campaign. Monday night’s WikiLeaks release of emails from the personal account of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta reveals Brazile sent even more questions ahead of the event, one that went to Hillary Clinton, the other was asked of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

Nato puts 300,000 troops on ‘HIGH ALERT’ amid fears of all out confrontation with Russia
Secretary General of Nato, Jens Stoltenberg, said the allied nations are putting hundreds of thousands of troops in a state of high alert in an effort to deter a mounting threat from Moscow. While Nato cut its defence budget and military investment since the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia has been bolstering its military capabilities, holding parades involving more than 100,000 troops each year.  

2 national tracking polls have Trump up
In the Los Angeles Times daily tacking poll, Trump has taken his largest lead yet in the campaign with a 5.6 percent edge – 48.2 to 42.6. In the Investors Business Daily national tracking poll, which has proven to be the most accurate indicator in presidential elections since 2004, Trump has extended his lead over Hillary Clinton, 43 percent to 41 percent.
