The Israel Security Agency (ISA, General Security Service, Shabak, Shin Bet) said, Thursday, that terror incidents originating beyond the 1949 Armistice Line rose from 112 in April to 116 in May. According to the ISA's monthly summary for May, attacks in Jerusalem jumped from seven to 11 and from 80 to 96 in Judea and Samaria (Shomron), while the number originating in Gaza declined from 23 to nine.

Most of the attacks in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria were firebombs.
