“Anti-Isarel Momentum Grows”

Germany has threatened to cancel an agreement to sell Israel submarines if Israel does not cancel construction of homes in the suburbs of Jerusalem.

In another assault on the Jewish State a member of Saudi Arabia's royal family has offered a $900,000 reward for the capture of an Israeli soldier. The offer, made Saturday by Prince Khaled bin Talal on a national television channel, comes days after prominent Saudi cleric Sheik Awadh al-Qarani floated a $100,000 offer for capturing an Israeli soldier.

Palestine became a full member of the UN cultural and educational agency Monday, in a highly divisive move that the United States and other opponents say could harm renewed Mideast peace efforts. Huge cheers went up in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization after delegates approved the membership in a vote of 107-14 with 52 abstentions.

In Geneva the Palestinian envoy in Geneva said he believes that joining the UN agency for culture, education and science will "open the door" to joining 16 other UN agencies within weeks.

Closer to home Southern Israel has been under a three day rocket barrage. Reports indicate that Egypt requested Israel hold off for 24 hours on attacking Gaza, while Egypt sought to establish a ceasefire.

The enemies that surround Israel are arming at an alarming pace. At the same time the Western nations are putting tremendous pressure on Israel to surrender land to her enemies. The very existence of Israel seems to be hanging in the balance.

If we did not know what the scripture reveals about Israel’s future, we would despair for her.
