“The coming world kingdom”
by Art Sadlier
March 16th, 2008

Daniel tells us about a Great Worldwide Kingdom that will arise in the last days. John tells us about this Kingdom and its ruler, antichrist. We read about it in Rev.13:7,8, "And power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life-"

For some time now we have been moving toward a World Government. We have been moving relentlessly toward World Trade, World Courts, World Banks, a World Currency, a World Health Organization, etc. etc.

Recent news Items last week indicate a giant step toward this prophesied World Empire, which will arise out of a Revived Roman Empire.

The first News Item, (Jerusalem Post, March 14, 2008). "French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Friday he won unanimous backing for his plan to forge closer political ties with Europe's North African and Mideast Neighbors on the Mediterranean Sea. The project would involve 39 partners, 27 EU nations plus a dozen on the Mediterranean's Southean shores, from Mauritania to Algeria, Egypt, Israel, the Palestinian Authority to Syria and Turkey." We see the EU continuing to lay plans for expansion.

The second News Item, (WND. March 13, 2008). "A largely unreported meeting held at the State Department discussed integration of the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, in concert with a move toward a Transatlantic Union, linking a North American Community with The European Union." Further expansion toward one world. I am again reminded of the words of Paul in 1 Thess.5:4 "But ye, brethern are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief." Remember, if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck.

In another News Item, (WND. March 13, 2008). RGE Monitor Chairman Nouriel Roubini writes, "The U.S. is facing a financial crisis that goes far beyond the sub prime problems into areas of economic life that the Fed simply cannot reach. The problems the U.S. economy faces are no longer just about having enough cash on hand; They're about insolvency, and monetary policy is ill-equipped to deal with such problems."

Roubini concludes it will "take years to resolve the problems that led to this crisis. In fact it's hard to consider solutions when the problems seem to grow worse each day."

There are signs everywhere that the world's whole monetary system is in danger. I am reminded of the words of David Rockefeller, "People will not accept World Government until the right crisis comes along."

Try to conceive of the tremendous changes that would overtake the world if economic collapse were to remove the US as the major power in the world. No one seems to like America being the world's policeman, but what utter chaos if suddenly their was no policeman. Any scenario would be possible.
